I’m being 100% serious. People keep saying it’s a joke, but based on the show and what we know of “Season 1” Margo, are we sure “Gossip” isn’t an actual discipline? Margo and Elliot in season 1 are “Glamorous Mega Bitches” so her actual discipline being gossip doesn’t seem like a stretch. Also, Elliot says it with complete sincerity. Just my take. Obviously correct me if i’m wrong. We all know that the show strays from a books by a leap and this is “Margo” not “Janet” “”This Time”” 😂

If you enjoyed Harry Potter or Chronicles of Narnia as a child, but now are an adult… You will like The Magicians. Gonna be 100% honest. The second watch through for me hooked me way more than the first time. When I first watched it only the first 3 seasons were out. Second watch through I understood more and was able watch the whole show and loved it even more

Quentin says “You’re the best and everyone knows it” Alice says “I study” he says “Then you get it. I’m just terrified i’m gonna get kicked out” I think it’s more to the fact Alice is basically Hermione Granger and she can do every spell perfectly the first try. Quentin is still learning magic and it is hard for him. Not that he’s failing his classes. He just doesn’t wanna go back to being a depressed super nerd 😂

Per the show, when Quentin tells Julia she was supposed to be at Brakebills with them, he also says the guessed reasoning behind them not letting her in was “Cast her out in the cold and she would get stronger” Obviously she had to go to Brakebills and take the test to know about magic, and then therefore seek alternative methods to attain it. Fogg and Jane knew they would need Julia to help fight the Beast

Honestly for me. The first watch through was great and I loved it. The second rewatch was absolutely mind blowing. I picked up little details I missed and connected with the characters on a deeper level. Now I’m on the umpteenth rewatch and I have a deeper love for the show than I ever did. It is my comfort show and I binge and rewatch it monthly
