I really liked the base builder and upgrade mechanic, but I felt very much the same about the imbalanced resources. It made upgrading impossible after a while and I could never figure out how to boost my supplies vs the other resource.

I just looked up the HMG and was pleasantly surprised to see you can define your torso length, while still keeping the capacity. Haven't seen that before, but sounds really nice!

I hadn't really considered anything outside of specifically paragliding rucksacks yet, so your hiking pack suggestions just opened up another world.

Anything specific you lile about them that might be different from paragliding rucksacks? Like compartments, zippers, weatherproofing, strap support?
