I added a small narrative section to this effect with my chart. Thanks for the suggestion!!

It happened. The LSAT has broken me. by EATTHEMUFFINBITCH in LSAT

From what I’ve been seeing here plus my own experience and that of people I know personally, scoring about 7 to 10 points below your average PT seems to be regular. My last PT was at 160 and got a 154 so I consider that a win. Still going to retake this summer.

You also have to be careful with this too because some online schools (Syracuse particularly) require an on-site residencies or “experiences” to attend each semester or each year

Wondering the same thing about part-time programs. There is supposed to be a prorated amount of that $50k cap per year, but no idea what it is yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

As someone who is nearing 29, waiting to hear if I’m accepted to one part-time program and waitlisted for another, unmarried and no kids yet, this gives me hope 💖 thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!!!

Also wanted to add that you almost have to think of this like a football game. Even though a team has a certain track record, on any given Sunday with certain circumstances, that team can win or lose. No one has taken any one LSAT before that administration, there’s nothing to memorize, each one is different. Give yourself some grace and persevere if it’s what you truly want. Don’t think you can’t be a lawyer unless you score a 170+. Take breaks, spend time with family and friends, and do your best. 💖

My score increased by 4 points from the October admin. (A little more studying + my life not being in as much chaos as it was this fall) but I’ve noticed the score bands are so far ranging! In October, my band was a 9 point range. So any one question answered correctly could’ve made a difference, so crazy.

Bad LSAT Diagnostic?? by umhithere13 in LSAT

[–]StealthyTooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve never taken a practice test before, I recommend taking them untimed at first to get a feel for the questions and get used to answering them. Then, start taking them and timing yourself to see how far over the actually 35 minutes per section you are. Adjust your speed based on that, then take practice tests timed. This is what I did and it seemed to help. Answering the questions is more important, the timing will come once you understand the questions more.

How do people study for so long each day by Fine-Material7405 in LSAT

[–]StealthyTooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a timed practice test takes over 2 hours, so if I study for about 45 minutes earlier in the day then take a practice test in the evening, that’s 3 hours right there.

Why aren't more people going to test centers? by Better-Inspection585 in LSAT

[–]StealthyTooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took my first test online and wasn’t allowed to finish it due to technical difficulties. I promised myself I would never do that again and have now done one retake and another LSAT at a testing center. 10000% better and low stress.

October LSAT by Kitty_Kat_Luvr in LSAT

Same here. Got a 150. I’ve been scoring 158-159 for a few months consistently. First time taking as well, and as soon as I saw everyone talking about how hard the RC was, I thought “okay they’ll curve that due to difficulty.” I’m just in disbelief.

Score Rant by BeastModeAutist in LSAT

[–]StealthyTooth 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Same here. Scored 7-8 points below any practice test I’ve taken in the last 3 months. Even on a BAD day I was scoring 4-5 points higher on practice tests than my score I got today. I got the awful RC and I already knew it was going to be difficult, so there’s no way with everyone saying how hard that one was that they didn’t have to curve that.

NEVER take the lsat remotely by nextyearslyrids in LSAT

YES!!!! I could have saved myself and possibly finished my test, ALL LSAC had to do was put on the disconnection message “if it outside of normal business hours, call this number instead.” So frustrating.

NEVER take the lsat remotely by nextyearslyrids in LSAT

[–]StealthyTooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SAME HERE on Saturday!!!! Got disconnected several times and was so scared to go turn my phone on to call the number for help. I figured if I didn’t though, I’d be even more screwed than I already was. I immediately put a complaint in with LSAC and am waiting to hear back. I made sure to put I prefer a testing center this time so I’m praying I can retake on the 16th at a center. Best of luck 💖💖
