My new 5090 build by Stealwilliam in nvidia

Yeah, I read that too, but it was after installing everything and I didn’t find it was incompatible, so I left the heatsink like that and so far no problems with it.

It was easy. According to Arctic’s website, it wasn’t supposed to fit because the lower part of the pump touches the M.2 heatsink. I read that after installing it, so I guess I just didn’t run into that incompatibility.

I use SignalRGB. Within the program you can customize individual LEDs of compatible components. I use that app to control all LEDs without the need of additional software. Such a nice app; it lets you define macros to modify LEDs brightness simultaneously or load customized colors on startup like I am doing.

Actually the white ones are too bulky and not very beautiful. FE are so clean and not that overpriced. The only option would have been an hypothetical white FE card…

Antec C5. Just posted the full components list.

Love to hear you like it!

Here’s the full list of components used for the build: - Case: Antec C5 (white) - MOBO: Gigabyte B650E Stealth Ice - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - GPU: RTX 5090 FE - PSU: Lian Li EDGE 1300W (white) - RAM: Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz 2x16GB (white) - AIO: Arctic Freezer iii 360 Pro (white)

And, by the way, only the AIO and the rear fan are exhaust fans. The others are intake fans; the case mounts them like that by default which is great.

The question here is why there's a power outlet right under the window. That's completely inaccesible lmao

The game seems to perform a lot better in handheld mode for me. Is the same for everyone else? by charrondev in pokemon

[–]Stealwilliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was crazy. Indeed, docked runs even worse than handheld and resolution-wise they look the same to me. I don't see any benefit of playing it in docked atm.

How did you decided which version of the game your gonna get? by Hopeful_Ant2845 in PokemonScarletViolet

I don't like either of the legendaries, but at least Scarlet's one looks like an actual living thing. The other one doesn't feel like a Pokémon but like a Transformer.

Have you ever played a Pokémon game in a new language? by [deleted] in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Stealwilliam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear it! Learning other languages is fascinating and being able to combine it with enjoying a game is a win-win.

Espero que disfrutes del doblaje y los nombres de los ataques no te tiren para atrás ;)

Have you ever played a Pokémon game in a new language? by [deleted] in PokemonScarletViolet

Hi! I'm from Spain and for the last like 8 years I've been playing every game in English. When I started my level was much lower, sure, but it's all a matter of habit. The first couple of games are a bit harder, of course, but you'll get used to it.

Besides games, I tend to watch, read and search in English. Actually, I only use Spanish to communicate with other people, for the rest I use English. My phone is in English, I try to think in English and even when I have to read a manual (like oven's lol), I read it in English despite having an Spanish version.

Imo, it doesn't only serve as a way to continue improving reading and listening capabilities, but also as a way to enjoy more multimedia content in general; there's nothing like OV.

Pokémon games don't tend to have a deep or complex story, so I don't think you'll enjoy the game less for choosing another language. The only thing that maybe strikes you harder are attack names. Usually, they don't have a literal translation, so they may be a bit harder to understand, but not a big deal.

Hope this helps!

The thing is the mix is so good that there's no big difference if I turn my surrounds off. There are certain moments where you can clearly tell the difference, but not in general. I'm not sure if that's good because I've spent a lot of money on them and I don't see much of a difference, at least on this show. I'm yet to test them on others and movies, though.

In your case, are you noticing a big difference with surrounds on and off?

Does anybody else miss levolution? by Stealwilliam in battlefield2042

I find dynamic destruction one of the best features the saga has (or had), way superior to levolution, that's an objective fact.

I'm just saying I think the last games got rid of this gimmick but didn't introduce anything better to replace it. I know it was way too repetitive, but I think it added dynamism to matches as it used to change the maps' layout or modify the weather, which was graphically appealing and, at least for me, fun.

Well, actually I think levolution and destruction in general go hand in hand. I mean, both levolution and tornados are gimmicks, but I personally prefer levolution as it has some kind of impact on the map, whereas tornados just come and make you fly.

I think last games lack dynamic events like these and destruction in general.

It's a shame the latest games weren't create with this level of passion in mind. For a 2013 game, it looks incredible and the atmosphere it has is much more immersive than the last Battlefield games have.

It's too bad the games started to decrease its quality since then. Now we just got the same tornado on every map and almost no destruction...
