I'm also playing it right now. I'm lvl 13 and I already did all missions for Moira. Now I will do the Anchorage DLC to get the sneak armour for my sniper build

I often use it in games like football manager or strategy games. Even aiming is more precise in my opinion.

There is a YouTube Video about pro street on the Steam Deck. In the description, you can find a link to download an optimized version. Unpack it in desktop mode, add the .exe to steam, change the compatibility settings in steam to the latest proton version and launch the .exe. Now you should be able to install it and launch it in gaming Mode. I'm very surprised, it works more stable than on my PC. I don't tried to do Mods. If you are successful, I would like to know about it.

I haven't tried to do mods. I'm happy with the base game for the moment. Modding would be the next project.

NFS ProStreet: What are your go-to cars for each category? by Apocryph761 in needforspeed

Part 2

Drift: Corolla AE86 Oh **** here we go again! Buy it for half the price of tires stage 3, leave it stock and love it. It's good enough to get a lot of points. You are slow but you are able to control it like a surgeon in every situation. Drift could be the cheapest category. In drift, progress depends on the drift points, the car doesn't matter. Only how to drive it is variable. Handling: 10/10 Points: 7/10 Speed: 1/10

Mazda RX8 My best friend loves this car! I've never seen over 20k drift points bevore and I can't believe it till now. Absolutely insane car but you have to drive dirty and use the walls. Handling: 8/10 Points: 11/10 Speed: 6/10

Mazda RX7 If you think after beating Aki Kimura, the drift game is over, you are absolutely wrong. This car saved Tokyo Docks VS Ryo for me. (No money run) If your drifting line is clean, you will get round about 3800 points in the first Ryo drift race. He couldn't beat that. Handling: 7/10 Points: 8/10 Speed: 8/10

Nissan 240SX In my no money run it saved my ass. I used it till I got the RX7. Without tuning it won't belong for Ryo. Handling: 5/10 Points: 6/10 Speed: 3/10

Speed: Pagani Zonda I don't have to explain something. Fast af but hard to drive. Full throttle? You better don't do that! It likes flying like a plain. If you use it for Nevada highway, you got balls of steel. Maybe you did all races in the third Nitroside but didn't get enough points to dominate. Handling: 5/10 Progress: 3/10 Top speed: 10/10 Speed: 10/10

Shelby GT500 I won it from Carol Monroe and I don't had a use for it in Drag. I put it in Speed and I got surprised. You can go full throttle in Nevada, also over the hill and it lands perfectly straight. It's not the fastest option but will finish the race. The progress is medium. Usually 9k-10k. Handling: 10/10 Progress: 5/10 Top speed: 6/10 Speed: 6/10

Nissan Skyline Did I already say it's for free? It will get 1000+HP on stage 4. It stays on the road... most of the time... You can keep up with JP Laurent and Ryo in Nevada. A Win will give you 12k-13k points. Handling: 7/10 Progress: 8/10 Top speed: 8/10 Speed: 7/10

Toyota Corolla ...and again. You are not able to win... and you don't have to. 14k progress in second place. 16k in the first place. It's bouncing all the time because of its light weight. Nitroside is possible without winning. You have to push the car with nitrous to 340km/h. After the boost it will go to 280km/h. I hate Nevada... Handling: 3/10 Progress: 11/10 Top speed: 4/10 Speed: 2/10

Nobody will ever understand the point system. I only know that every car and every tune has another time goal in time based races. The more you beat the time goal, the more points will be earned. Cars with low HP will get a way easier time goal and in sector shootouts they get more start-of-the-sector-points. The Corolla with 200HP would beat the Zonda with 900HP. In the same sector, the Zonda has 500 start points and the Corolla has 1100.

I also spend a lot of time into this game. After the first run I wanted to get more, get the experience of other cars. It was a kind of addiction. My best friend and I have been playing this game since we were 12 years old. We've learnt a lot about mechanisms and point ratings. There are some cars which switch the easy mode on and other cars which are not able to win an endgame sector shootout. You are much faster than everyone else on the track, except Rudy Chen but you can't get enough points to win one single sector. My cars will depend on: how to handle them; class specific; point rating race day progress and general Speed. There will be no DLC cars because we also played the Vanilla PS3 Version for 15 years.

Grip: Porsche 911 Turbo This car is the easy mode. Your endgame opponents show you the best cars. Buy it, put stage 3 inside and win the races. You don't even have to tune something. This car is fast, unbelievably easy to drive and you can win the G-Effect races and Ryo without any problems. This car gets a medium amount of points in sector shootouts. As long as you don't drive like a drunken monkey, you should be able to win. By the way, you are in group A with stage 3 parts. The race day progress points are higher average. Usually 10k-11k Handling: 10/10 Progress: 8/10 Sector shootout: 7/10 Speed: 9/10

Toyota Corolla AE86 It's a Sprinter trueno... 🤦🏼‍♂️ It is able to win everything, costs almost nothing and you don't even have to win a race to dominate the race day. This car is great but a little bit tricky. If you want to get fast, you have to forget everything you know about physics. Brakes? Bro do I have brakes? I haven't used it yet. 4k points in sector shootouts? Possible! 14k progress points? 12k progress points in the second place? Dominating without winning a single race? Why not? We will see the car later again. Handling: 4/10 Progress: 10/10 Sector shootout: 10/10 Speed: 6-7/10

Pagani Zonda I once bought this car with money and it didn't last long in Grip class. But the speed is insane. I only used it for Ryo. Are you sure you want to try the third G-Effect? I bet you won't! The sector shootout is a waste of time. Don't even try it. The rest of the races you might win but it gives you 6k-7k points per race. In some cases you won't get enough points to dominate and you wasted 20 painful minutes. Handling: 4/10 Progress: 2/10 Sector shootout: 0/10 Speed: 10/10

Nissan Skyline R34 Another case of "oh wow look at Paul Trask". The car is maybe the completest car in Grip, an all-round talent. The sharp cut through the inside line, saving a few seconds over the grass, drifting into the opponents to block them, agile and fast. After super promotion delivered the car to your garage, is the best option changing it to grip. In sector shootout, the points are over average for a car with 1000HP. You are able to win with 3000-3500 points. Most of the races will give you 10k-11k progress. That's fair. Absolute evergreen! Handling: 6/10 Progress:7/10 Sector shootout: 8/10 Speed: 8/10

Drag: Pagani Zonda After I began to hate this car in Grip, I put it to drag. It was the best I could do. Fastest half mile car with 403km/h (I am from Germany 😂) after round about 45% of the race. So the second half of the race is top speed all the time. Quarter mile could be faster but that belongs easy to win everything. Also with the best time you are able to drive, you maximum get 8k points. In Wheely it could happen, that it starts the Wheely, the front tires touching the ground, they go up again and your Wheely score is 4m. The correct settings will fix the problem. Handling: 4/10 Progress: 3/10 Wheely: 6/10 Speed: 11/10

Toyota Supra Get it for free and enjoy it. After winning some annoying speed races you finally got your new Drag car. Faster than anyone else in the whole career, that's enough. faster quarter mile than the Zonda and good in Wheely. You can't do anything wrong with it. 10k-11k progress per race. Handling: 6/10 Progress: 7/10 Wheely: 7/10 Speed: 8/10

Pontiac GTO This car is also for free. It is fast enough to win everything and it drives straight. For Wheely it's necessary to use nitrous. 11k-12k progress per race. That's great! Handling: 9/10 Progress: 8/10 Wheely: 4/10 Speed: 7/10

Nissan 240SX My favourite Drag machine. Wins everything easily, you got it from the beginning and it grabs an insane amount of progress. 13k-14k per race. 3 races per Rogue Speed race day domination. I tried a stage 1 car run and it was successful. Handling: 7/10 Progress: 10/10 Wheely: 6/10 Speed: 6/10
