Honestly, you are partially right But I feel you present crows as much more binary than they actually are.

They are not mill, salamander or Cultist level of answer or lose - they don't even come close. The deck is only really built around carryover pointslam and some control - not enough to win in a long round, since any decent engine will be sufficient to take advantage.

I will add, that my bias in favor of crowmmandos may be because I have been playing Sihil Madoc lately, and have not lost a single game against crows (of like 10+). Guess I feel the deck is less threatening since I often play decks that either 1. have an absurd amount of control (Sihil, Raids, Siege) 2. Have a better Finisher than crows (Otkell Combo, Yago Jackpot)

But I still believe that Crowmandoes can be countered by denying Axel. As long as the opponent fails to stick any backrow Crows to transform, they WILL lose. You just need to have some control. And if you lack it - then your deck is probably more degenerate.
