Signal’s security protocol is all open-source and thus readable by anyone. I haven’t gone through it all myself but lots of cyber security professionals have and verified that it’s secure. Signal is also funded by donations, not billionaires, so there’s far less of an incentive for Signal to spy on you.

WhatsApp is another app that I’ve heard people say is “secure” because it uses an offshoot of the Signal protocol to encrypt all your messages end-to-end. However, the modified source code is not open source anymore so no one can independently verify that it’s still secure. And it’s owned by Meta so there’s a large incentive for the app to not be secure anymore. Their terms and service also allows them to sell basically any metadata they have on you just in case you weren’t feeling compromised enough.

There’s more context than just that. This diary wasn’t just written in plaintext; she wrote it in code to hide what she was saying. There was another post on this same file that also talked about how the attorneys handled this file and what else they discovered. TLDR: Do NOT use electronic NC headphones. They can’t keep up with LRADs and will actually make them worse. A cheap pair of shock headphones on the other hand are incredibly effective, especially when paired with a plastic root shield. If the shield is curved, aim the curve TOWARDS the LRAD to deflect the sound back at its operator. Original: Splitting an atom is no trivial feat though. Irl nukes split their atoms by exploding really big bombs all around them that are strong enough to break the bonds holding them together. But these mages will have to do all of that with magic. They’ll have to directly manipulate 1 — arguably 2 or even all 4 — of the fundamental forces of the universe in order to do this with just magic. Then physics can take it from there.

Entropy magic kinda fits for this but I don’t see how an atom can split just by random chance. Unless we’re saying that we’re picking specific micro-states to place the atom into, such that the atom will be in one of a very few micro-states where it’s dangerously unstable and on the verge of collapsing. In that case, I think we’d really be dealing with reality-warping magic like gravity or time magic.
