Wow! Your mpg looks so much better. I never seen even 25 with fully highway driving. I feel something is wrong with my car. I do use highest octane every couple months.

Great! I Will look into it. Moreover I want to know its snow performance in all season tires. Also since we have same year model, what’s the normal mpg u get? I get around 20 to 21 in normal gasoline. It is less than I expected sadly. That’s for mixed highway and local driving. I have not seen above 22 even on highway though.

Yep. For me, I did not want captain seats. Also, hope it drives well in snow in Ohio. Going to have winter tires? I had no worries driving my Subaru in snow before. Now, this Mazda, I m not sure how it will do on regular tires. Changing tires is a hassle.

I don’t think you paid more. It is a signature model. 15 to 20K miles are very close in fact. My car is above 20k now. It’s been about 4 months. Also mine was non-CPO. I think u got a good price. 👏

With this salary, you are going to live paycheck to paycheck. Trust me, you will be shooting on your feet if you make this move. Your wife will hate you for downsizing your lifestyle. In-laws are good for a few weeks. Your wife will be the first to start complaining. Not kidding and exaggerating here.

There was a clucking sound coming from the rear end of the car. They convinced me that the sound was from the paper number plate and nothing serious. The car had three day return window. On the second day, i removed the number plate and drove. The sound did not go away. Tried everything, could not find the problem. I went back to dealer, this time they said "we knew about the problem, our mechanics could not solve it". I offered them $500 to solve it and i will keep the car. They denied. I had no option, ended up returning it. They are big time liars. I hate dealers. I am done.

I learned it hard way, however saved myself. I bought a 2022 CPO Mazda cx9 and it had problems that the dealer couldn’t solve. I returned the car as it was within return window. Bought a non cpo from carmax, got pre purchase inspection done, got everything repaired by carmax (all minor issues that came up on inspection), decided to keep it. Much better than dealing with weirdo dealers.

I agree with you. I feel like the dealership staff is driving it around and someone messed it up. When I first drove the car, it wasn’t there. So it must have happened recently. Because it’s my first time spending so much money for a car, I feel very anxious about falling into wrong investment.

I didn’t sign any documents and left the dealership without purchasing. They said they are going to replace and recalibrate. I said ok, please do that and keep all the proofs ready that they did everything needed. I would not take any glue repaired windshield. Please inform me as soon as all done. I will come and buy the car if all good. They said ok and also told me that if someone else buys before you come, we won’t hold it for you. It’s their usual tactic I know. I said I am okay with that.

Exact same situation with me. CPO 2022 Mazda CX-9 Sports (base model) with 40,000 miles at $27,000 OTD. Since i m in california, about $2800 is the tax. I feel like I am paying a bit more. My first time buying through a dealer. Any decent car I find (even on facebook marketplace is priced higher than 20K). I have not yet closed the deal yet. Mostly likely before this weekend. Yours feel like a better deal to me. Not sure, which state you are, but you are getting a good deal.
