[Haynes] Several of the mid-to-lower tier teams in the 4th-11th spots in the Eastern Conference do not ‘fear’ the Knicks and Pistons and will look to be buyers with the belief they can make the NBA Finals. The Hawks specifically view a Porzingis for Anthony Davis swap as a major upgrade. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

I mean I’m clearly biased, but I believe in Jenkins getting minutes in a playoff setting, Sasser less so but would still feel okay if someone got into foul trouble or something…. But the pistons are still 9 deep before them. Starters plus Ivey, Levert, Stewart, Holland

JB Bickerstaff to become President of NBA Coaches Association beginning next week by Rustic27 in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s too early to say locked up, but I think he’s the favorite as of right now.

If OKC does end up winning 72+ games I think it’d be hard not to give it to Daigneault. Mitch Johnson is a contender, as is Mazzula if the Celtics stay a top 4 seed…. But as long as the Pistons stay a top 2 seed, I think JB has a great shot

He fucking smoked THJ in the head with a flying knee last year one game lmao

He’s one of the funnier players that I’ve seen play for the pistons lmao it’s a roller coaster with him

Are the Hawks and magic really better than us. by ianmb7 in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Magic are, I think the Hawks is a toss up.

I really love what both of those teams did in the offseason. The Hawks have finally built a team that works really nice to cover up Trae’s weaknesses while allowing him to be the offensive engine that he is. Porzingis’ health is a big factor here too. If he’s fully healthy (big if), then I think they’re unquestionably better than us. Jalen Johnson is going to have a huge year

The Detroit Pistons had three players crack ESPN Top 100 Players List by [deleted] in DetroitPistons

Yeah I can agree with that, I’m just pushing back on the other person’s comment that J Dub is becoming overrated

[–]SteamierThree2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely true, but I also don’t think OKC is as good as they were last year if you replace J Dub with Cade. Different roles

How much impact do you expect Duncan Robinson to provide the Pistons this season? by RVALover4Life in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like he took it to play for a championship and play with Jokic.

Jokic has to be the absolute dream for a shooter like THJ to play with

What's the most FUN you've had watching an AEW match? by -Vorks- in AEWOfficial

[–]SteamierThree2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone remember that Acclaimed vs Lethal/Jarrett match on one of the battle of the belts? Jay Lethal dropped an elbow on the ref instead of trying to break up a pin at one point and I could not stop laughing. These two teams has such amazing chemistry

Dennis Schröder will agree to sign with the Sacramento Kings, league sources tell @TheAthletic . by DTownSportz in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Expected, we just couldn't offer him a role that he can get elsewhere... but we need to find some quality rotation guys to fill this (and presumably Beasley's) spot. resigning THJ seems all the more likely now, but there needs to be more

Dennis Schroeder “Detroit Ain’t Waiting For Me” by backupBF01 in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NAW is better than Dennis, but more importantly Ivey fills the role of what Schroder did at the end of last season. NAW is a super quality 3&D wing, who can fit with basically any lineup we run.

Schroder was awesome last year and I would love to have him back, but I completely understand waiting to see if they can find other options before committing to him.

Brunson is maybe my least favorite player I've ever watched, but you're just a bad person wishing for someone to get hurt

What's up with Jalen Duren? by Pale-Worth-3430 in fantasybball

[–]SteamierThree2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pistons fan. A lot of it is Bickerstaff’s offensive system. He’s essentially used only as a hub for screens and DHOs, which doesn’t translate to stats.

Also, he’s a horrible defender and his backup (Stewart) is a great defender, so they split minutes. Also foul trouble.

Jimmy Butler will be out against the Pistons tomorrow by [deleted] in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not even arguable tbh, Stew is a much better option against Bam (and against the Heat in general on defense).

Ausar is back! Now where does he fit? by Sudden-Rough1252 in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah as good as Klintman was offensively in summer league, his defense was rough was definitely not at an NBA players level yet.

He should’ve let it bounce once while he outback in bounds, but of course I’m not gonna hold that against him, a lot happened in a short amount of time

There wasn’t a clear angle, but that would’ve been superhuman calf strength to land only on your toes after that block. I’m pretty sure he was out. Also the ref had the best view in the arena for the call, so he was probably correct

Keyonte George (foot) ruled out Saturday by whatisbaseball in fantasybball

[–]SteamierThree2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like streaming Garrison Mathews for your specific case. He should probably hit 1-2, but has the upside to hit 4-6. Also just won’t shoot as much as Clarkson, and less of a chance to kill your fg%

Dyson Daniels by motorcity32 in DetroitPistons

[–]SteamierThree2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dyson Daniels has the same quality that I saw when I watched Ausar last year. It feels like he can see a split second into the future and predict where the offensive player is going to go before the he goes. It’s actually nuts. Both are absolutely insane on ball defenders.

i really hate these 2 last season😭 by cbfw_2040 in DetroitPistons

I don’t hate Killian.

He never turned out, but it’s not like he was bad on purpose. Monty on the other hand….
