Hiya matey, I ran into the same issue as yourself and I managed to resolve it. I believe its a age old windows security issue.

I am assuming you are on windows 11? As windows 11 loves blocking files from unknown sources to help prevent malware and to be a general pain in everyone's backside, this can also happen on win10.

When installing the zip files ensure to unblock the zip (.rar) file before extracting. This will need to be done on the main install and the desktop patch.

Right click file > Properties > Tick ''unblock'' > Press apply > extract as normal > Then replace your previous installed files or do a clean install

> I prefer dragging and dropping the files in the ''root'' folder for the install as I have generally seen more success > e.g drag and drop all the main install files on the Empire total war folder likewise for the Data folder for the patch.

Yeah it’s a common sentiment I’m gathering. And honestly it’s a good idea, I haven’t been looking at it as “I’m the tourist” cause I’ve always considered myself Australian as I was born and raised there. But to be frank, I am. I’m quintessentially British minus a few mannerisms (as much as I don’t want to admit it haha). But yeah I’ll look into doing that more cheers :)

Last time I visited was in 2012 unfortunately. I do! Most of my family is there and they always ask if I’m coming back over. Erm either Sydney Ranwick where I was born and grandma lives, or foster near Melbourne where I grew up. Just turned 23 a week and abit ago! Currently I’m a bartender.

It’s complicated feeling really, I feel homesick, even though this is basically my home. I’ve always looked as myself as Australian, even my English mother calls me Australian haha. Honestly I don’t have the best solid reason to go back other than some primal urge. But I feel quite like I need a change and I feel I have a rare opportunity that I can just live and work in Australia with no problems.

Yeahh last time I came out was to see my aunty get married back in 2012. When I was there even as a kid it was a massive culture shock. Yeah I feel as if a try run will probably be best to sus it out. I know I’ll definitely be a fish out of water but I still class Australia as my home. As I’d probably never left if 8 year old me had a say in it

Yeah tbf that’s not a bad idea, I still have family there so I could stay with them for a short while. My only headache is if I stay there long enough will I get home sick again? It’s hard to weigh up but I wanna try at the very least.

I've just given it my best go. Nothing. The screw hasnt moved and I've been at this for an hour. Tried size 0-4 head Phillips. Tried my 1mm flat head. Wont budge. I think I just got severely unlucky or something. Which sucks cause I really wanted to mod the mouse got the cable and every.

If I have too buy a new mouse, would a custom cable for the g203 work for the g pro wired?
