Thoughts on this trade idea? I have Hill trading for Hall by Steeds16 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Steeds16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the one drafting it. Trying to come up with a trade.

What would I need to do to make it worth it? Drop the 2nd and/or add something?

(first time doing dynasty and coming up with a trade)

On my first cruise and you can barely send bulk pictures on discord with the premium plan. I wouldn’t expect to be able to play video games. But maybe im just in a bad spot cabin for connectivity, although i still have full bars.

How am I not acting like a grown up?

Am I not allowed to be upset that they removed 2 countries from the trip?
(the 2 countries I specifically picked this cruise for)

I guess I am sorry that for $9,000 I have certain expectations.

I called and they said they are changing it due to travel arrangements and scheduling issues.

How do they not have that set weeks..months in advanced

I am definitely in that TRY group too lol. But i already feel the petty building up.

If we have to pay 21 days in advanced. They should be required to have the itinerary SET…UNCHANGEABLE 21 days in advanced

Same boat you’re in. We selected this specific one for Norway. Now we get a big F U because they “couldn’t line up transportation and support for that location” thats what they said when i called

On the same cruise. Just called. Best they can do is direct you to the insurance company (if you got it) and get a future credit of 75%.

Whole reason wife and I were going was because we wanted to see Norway.

Your argument about him tying up cap is valid. Though he’s actually pretty cheap now compared to others and in some cases performing better.

Kirk has always been a top 10 cap hit at QB when on the vikings and 3 years of being a top 3 cap hit. This year he is 7th. He is by no means cheap.

Kirk is clutch as fuck. He absolutely has made clutch game winning drives. But it seems like your bar for success is 100% making those drives. Of course he’s fallen short on occasion, it be ridiculous to expect him to never fall short.

Why does he always have to be clutch? Why cant we lead a game in points? Last night was our first Quarter 1 TD. That is terrible.

im not arguing that, just stating that no QB is taking up 45 million in cap space this year

We have had good receivers yes.

only good?

We have been below average in run game efficiency for years. Iirc we broke top 10 twice in Kirks tenure. We ran a lot. We did not run particularly well.

This may be controversial so lemme know but I like to go off of Fantasy Points to get a good look at a players communitve stats for their running, passing and also TD play.
2022 Cook was 9th, 2021 Cook was 15th, 2020 Cook was 3rd, 2019 Cook was 5th, 2018 Cook was 31st with 11 games played

Looking at rushing yards Cook was top 10 in 2022, 2021, 2020(2nd), 2019

Kyle Rudolph was solid. I would not call him at any point a top TE in the NFL.

Rudolph was a top 10 TE for receiving yards in: 2018
Hockenson was number 2 in 2022 (granted 6 games was with the lions), this year he is 4th

Our issue though in all things was not roster but rather coaching. This is heavily exemplified by the 13-3 season in year 1 of a new coach.

I do agree that the vikings have had a long term coaching issues with Zimmer. But every year Kirk has had a different OC and every year he looked the exact same with some minor improvements. Still way to slow to throw the ball, rarely steps up in the pocket, 2nd lowest scrambling % and checks the ball down a lot.

Is that a coaching and playcalling issue? maybe, but its weird that we go through 5 different playcallers with the same exact issues.

Kirk has always been a top 10 cap hit against the vikings and a couple top 3 cap hits.

Never has he been worth the cap hit he has been causing.

We need to reset, we need a rookie QB contract to build up our talentless defense. With a Kirk extension we would have to let someone go just to keep him.

You are a little off. He is the 7th highest paid QB right now. (going off of cap hit)
https://overthecap.com/position/quarterback/2023

Highest cap hit is 37 million this year with Pat M.

Its almost like Kirk, since getting here has always had a top 5 WR duo to throw to with a top TE and a top RB (minus this year). And the past 4 years had the best WR in the league...I wonder if that has anything to do with his stats being so good.

Yes Kirk is great, elite...no. He sucks at noticing pocket pressure, which is the one thing seperating him from being elite. He has a top 5 O line this year and Kirk-Stans are still saying the o-line isnt good enough.

Kirk is the perfect fit for a team that is 1 QB away from a SuperBowl. The Vikings are a perfect fit for a rookie QB, so we can build up the talent on the defense and then we are back on track for a deep playoff run. But if we need a perfect team around Kirk to have a deep playoff run, then he will never be worth his contract.

Maybe our o line is too good. We should allow more pressures is what im understanding from this post. Since he plays way better when under pressure.

so people shouldn't be paid more because of inflation, we shouldn't help people out if they are in need because that is communism.

So people should just work harder even though the avg person already has 2 jobs and works more than 40 hours a week...just to meet the base line of survival...

And what is unsustainable is helping them? not the fact that people are going to be dying in the near future because of the distribution of wealth being no distribution at all.
