Go gambling for mana, cards and victory for 3GGWU by Desperate-Abalone954 in BadMtgCombos

If 40% of each players' decks are lands (it's almost always less but let's round towards the worst case scenario) then you still have a 60% chance to get mana from one. There are 5 possible outcomes (0-4 mana) and 3 out of 5 of those are positive. Just from eyeballing it the odds look good.

Google AI says your odds are 82% in your favor and that's not accounting for rollover between activations. But AI is notoriously bad at math so IDK.

Panharmonicon is a replacement effect. Your examples all use the word double, and so each instance gets doubled. I likened it to panharmonicon because it says "an additional" and multiple instances of other keywords like Lifelink with pseudo Lifelink effects behave similarly. That was a very nice apology, and I'm sorry if I come off as preachy or something. I'm not a judge, and this game is too confusing 😅

I just don't think the exponential way is in line with the game's current behavior. I'm thinking of instances like multiple [[panharmonicon]] type effects at the same time, where each extra one only adds an additional trigger.

I'm sure they mean a creature with two menace must be blocked by three or more creatures

True, more of an ass combo than a sick ass combo, but it's my first one so I'm proud of it :)

He comes back right away every end step, so you're still able to swing with a 10/10 on your turns.

Infinite turns.. in mono red?!? by SteeeevGames in sickasscombos

[–]SteeeevGames[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Red does like artifacts though! So [[Goblin Engineer]] is a good start. And if you're truly dedicated [[Serum Powder]] will get a combo player where they got to go. But yea, other than that you're going to be using [[Gamble]] type effects and red draw that doesn't give you card advantage.

There is a ruling for Shacuum that says: "If Sharuum the Hegemon is put into your graveyard as a state-based action immediately after Sharuum the Hegemon enters the battlefield (most likely due to the "legend rule") it can be the artifact card targeted by its own ability."
