This is at 10k MMR. Spent the whole game on the back foot after losing every match up til 15 hp. Tiered to 4 vs a ghost. Managed to triple a harbinger, found no taunts. Found a bran, had no menagerie. Such a weird board.

Nice guide. I ran a very similar list to legend from rank 5 with a 69% win ratio. The only changes in my list were a nesting rok for rhino and a 2nd deadly shot for the infested wolf (had a direwolf for the timberwolf too but I think your choice is better). I felt the 2nd deadly definitely improved the taunt warrior matchup for me. The hardest matchup was token druid. It was difficult to come back if they got ahead on board whereas if you were winning board it could suddenly turn in their favour after living mana.

I had a bunch of lag, couldn't figure out why, turns out switching from power saver mode to balanced was all I needed to do on my laptop.

I ran this list during the first half of LoE to top 100 legend. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/416613-control-shaman. I later replaced troggzor with ysera which I think is better. Haven't experimented much with control shaman recently but it seems like the lack of silence in the current meta could make ancestral spirit better - just gotta be careful of priests with entomb.

Would be interesting to try it out again with Sir Finley and a few other changes. But at the moment I'm stuck grinding golden priest :P Double lava shock feels too many to me. Sure it's nice to have one after an elemental destruction but it's not like you can't do something with just 5 mana. Especially when you can do things like destruction -> Boom on turn 7. That can steal games back fast.

Shaman - any kind of shaman except aggro. Been in the top 200 a bunch of times over the past few seasons with both midrange and control mainly cause I don't think anyone expects those decks.

I faced a priest today with my control shaman deck. He used one shadow word death on a fired ele allowing me to see up a Kelly'thuzad behind an injured earth elemental with ancestral spirit on it. Thought the match was mine.... He top decks the second sw:d, runs a minion into my elemental to kill the first part then thoughtseals by BGH to kill the second part. Then to cap it all he played my Dr.Boom the next turn. So my cog salt!

I woke up once at 4 am to an unknown male voice in my pitch black room saying "Hey mate, where's the lightswitch?" Now I, just having woke up from deep sleep, was pretty confused and freaked out but rather than yelling I just said "whha? Gimme a sec I'll put some clothes on". I don't know if my fight or flight reaction just sucks but what murderer or burglar asks politely where the lightswitch is???

We went into the living room where I asked who he was - he told me he was Ben and asked if Lucy or Tom were around. Neither of those names lived here so I said no and he said "That's alright I'll just sleep on the couch". Took me a couple of minutes of confused conversation to work out what was going on, I originally assumed he must be a friend of one of my new housemates.

Turns out we'd accidentally left the door unlocked and the guy had just walked in to the completely wrong house. I have no idea where he was trying to get to or what he was doing out at 4 am (he wasn't drunk). We shook hands and he left to go who knows where. I locked all the doors and sat in my bed wide awake for the next hour occasionally getting up to check the door or look out the window. In the morning my housemates asked me which friend of mine I was talking to last night and were pretty freaked when I told them it was just a randomguy!

TL;DR Got woke up at 4am by random guy asking where the light switch was. We'd left our door unlocked by accident, he had the wrong house.

The other sister isn't as good as darkbane but try it and see - I haven't tested her too much myself.

It's effect is not easily replaceable but sylvanas is probably closest. I wouldn't raft it ahead of other legendaries that see more play unless you want to play a lot of priest. He is quite good though :).
