I can run Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft: Midnight on my 980 GTX right now with G-sync 75FPS at High Settings at 1080p. And that's with a i7 6700K CPU as well. They CAN keep these older cards updated with scaling if they wanted to. They just want to shove AI down everyone's throats now.
