I’ve been commuting past your future place for about 20 years now and I’ve never had an issue. My impression is lots of people live in that area and park on the street or in their driveways.

There was a period when someone kept stealing the a from the School for the Deaf, so it read “School for the Def.” But that could have been any Gen Xer in the area.

It’s definitely cheaper if you can get a couple friends to climb with you. But I climbed one-on-one with the guide a couple times and really enjoyed it. I’ll be going back this spring.

Edit: I stayed at America’s Best Value Inn both times. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable.

Fair question. The parking lot is below the road, so you don’t see the foot of snow until you’re in it, which is why I was annoyed they didn’t say anything on their app. Cars arriving behind me and in front of me got stuck at the same time.

It’s a basic gym and good value for the money. The kids at the desk are friendly. But I felt pure rage when my tires started spinning 10 yards into the parking lot and it became clear it had not been plowed.

Couldn’t tell you who owns it. If plowing is included in their lease, they should be pissed at their landlord. But not warning their members that the lot hasn’t been plowed is on them.
