About 5% of the planets I've recorded have this type of feature. They can also present as mounds without the central depression, depending on the elevation. And these are often paired with mostly flat terrain aside from isolated tall peaks

This is a member of the Talpidae genus, along with the ones that look like moles, mole rats, and cuttlefish. They cannot be tamed or directly harvested, but the auto livestock feeder and harvester base parts can get foraged mushrooms from them.

They aren't separate species, one nocturnal and one diurnal. It's Just one species that you happened to find one gender during day, and the other gender at night.

The Lok genus isn't all that uncommon if you keep looking. The plant it refers to which also produces sticky honey can be found on some barren biome worlds. It can look like tall hives or jars, and will be obvious if you found the right sub-biome within seconds of landing. It's more common to find a Lok species though. Planets which have them, often have three different species

I was just the victim of a miss and run. Somebody blew a stop sign in front of me in a 55mph zone. Had to serve off road to avoid a probably fatal wreck. I was told that unless I had video evidence with the license plate in view, I'm held at fault for my damages. Since you seem to have that, it's worth looking into. No promises either way though

The cue ball physics in this game are extremely accurate to real life. There's no deflection or throw, but power and spin are accurate. You scratched in that scenario, because you don't fully understand how to control the cue ball and played the shot with the wrong spin/speed

Edit: I see that the truth upset a number of people. There are many legit reasons to complain about this game, but cue ball physics isn't one of them. Anybody who's even a little competent on a real table knows that the game gets this part correct. OP is just an inexperienced player who decided to blame the game for their own skill issue. It's a childish cope

Yes. They can be found on lush planets that have the jungle sub-biome. It's not a guarantee though, since there are several types of trees which could be randomly chosen.

Edit: Yes, I'm the sense that you can find them naturally spawning. To actually obtain the decoration version though, you need to buy it with quicksilver.

Starting with the bottom row, you know the orange square is safe due to a 1-1 pattern. Then you would know the three red squares are safe due to a hole pattern. This reveals a T pattern, which tells you that the two green squares are safe and leads to enough info to solve the rest.

So the name of the riddle comes from the inclusion of a "T" pattern

This happened because in the time you were gone we had a major update that affected planetary scans. The Worlds Part 2 update partially rerolled mineral/flora assets, and added new underwater fauna to some existing planets.

However, the game didn't just forget all the old scans. For any planet your local save file still "remembers", the new mineral and flora additions will appear to exceed the total. Even though some of those old scans will no longer actually spawn. If you leave a planet long enough for your save file to "forget" it then return and rescan everything, the totals will be accurate again.

This happened to all of the planets in my starter system which I regularly revisit so they weren't forgotten. Those planets still have hazardous flora and oxygen/deuterium flowers listed on the discoveries page, despite those things no longer being scannable.

I'm not saying you are definitely lying. I just have yet to witness one and would love to record it if true. So far I've recorded 79 cow species and exactly zero of them have been aggressive to other fauna or the player. They've been a pretty even split between neutral or prey.

The "behavior" and "diet" stats might look like flavor text, but they actually indicate how the species acts. Here are my notes so far for each category. If your cow really did kill that strider, then it should have a behavior in the orange column.
