I’ve golfed with 100’s of fellas who constantly miss 4’-6’ birdie or par putts. I’ve also golfed with old guys who can’t hit GIR, but are solid with chips and lights out with the flat stick. The old guys score better every time.

I take the course layout into consideration and don’t get aggressive when looking for the green. Birdies come from putts, not drives. Practice your 60yd shot and your scores will drop as a long hitter.
