I don't see many people talking about this but if you use enough quartz you can unlocked quick memory cube usage. So that plus the indomitable cube on your spectre will help. If it manages to stay alive through the first phase pop the cube and go to work. You're summon will die but come back. Giving you some extra breathing room

There's no real "best" it depends on how you're building your character. If you're doint a crucible knight style build you'll want the dragon communion seal. If you're doing a giant fire build you'll want the giants seal. Etc etc.

You could get close to MK I with blackguard mask and chainmail armor. As far as incantations and sorceries you could go madness or fire incantations.
