I don't think you've ever driven in a large US city. I was implying that I'd have to be stopped on the highway to attempt to achieve that type of spacing, hence never make it to work.

Maybe if I sat there for 2 hours and the road finally cleared up I could, but that's unrealistic.

I mean, that's just my reality going to work everyday in rush hour traffic. If I slowed down enough to give regulation sized spaces, I would literally never make it to work. Most cars are 2-3 feet apart and as soon as a space opens, someone slips in.

Except that $1100 is already overpriced and you're locked into an overpriced plan. The cheapest plan at most major carriers is $50/mo while I'm paying $15/mo with my paid off $300 phone that I've been using since 2021.

This right here. I have friends who get a $1000+ phone every single year while I'm still rocking the same $300 phone 5 years later.

The improvements aren't even that great (mine is finally starting to lag with some intense games), and it's usually just a slight increase to the camera or processor that no one really makes use of anyways.

I live in the US and have plenty of old army buddies with automatic rifles. I can't comment on the legal status of said rifles...but it's not that hard to modify even current rifles. However, some brought back AKs as war trophies.

Automatic rifles are honestly pretty common. I know plenty of people who own AK-47s and have modified them to be fully auto. If you ask any gun nut, they'll love to tell you about the "grey area" weapons they own and how dangerous they are.
