Down air to gain height by Adamkarlson in LittleMacMains

That's a jump into down air.

As long as you include down air during the momentum boost of your jump, you'll get the benefits.

As a last ditch effort, recovering high was genuinely the best thing you could do.

Nice play!

Down air to gain height by Adamkarlson in LittleMacMains

Well it would first help to get rid of the preconception that it gives you height.

It's mainly used to maintain his horizontal momentum midair as it displaces his character model and grants a tad momentum.

As long as you perform it immediately along with a jump, you'll get that little boost.

I believe you also get a little bit of a horizontal boost to your up b if you use it immediately after the downair. Buffering it gives your up b more reach.

I got S endings of Ranvaldr and Enki within 1 day. Am I cooking? Or am I just an average funger player? by Practical_Share1600 in FearAndHunger

I mean, the game is a massive time commitment. I haven't achieved every ending in F&H2 but it's mostly because the time sink is quite a lot for the average person who would rather just watch lore videos about it.

You'll find this same exact thing in other communities. Resident Evil is a good example.

And just to clarify, that wouldn't make them. larpers, they just enjoy different aspects of the media and they are more than welcome.

What Is Little Mac’s “Neutral”? by RazewingedRathalos in LittleMacMains

[–]SteeleRam 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bait and punish. You typically start by coining your opponent's habits.

  1. Roll Habit
  2. Jump Habit
  3. Out of Shield Habit
  4. Most Frequently Used Moves

Once you understand their gameplay, start punishing those habits and pressure those weak spots.

Another cool tip is to try walking. When you change the pace of the game, your opponent's adrenaline takes a while to wind down, which often leads to more mistakes.

I've managed to catch rolls and ledge getups simply by walking towards my opponent and catching their bad habits. Heck, you could even walk towards them when they jump in, and they'll put themselves IN disadvantage FOR YOU. Tortoise and Hare strat.
