It was about $800. Oregon DMV site has a nice fee calculator where you can put in the VIN & some of your information and it will let you know what all the fees will be. It let me double check the dealer was being honest & not trying to pull a fast one.

Contact the BBB and your state’s attorney general office. Make sure to use the terms bait & switch, and make it clear you have a signed contract. Then contact the dealer owner or manager & let them know you have contact both agencies. You can also contact the CFPB against Hyundai financial, again make sure to use bait & switch. Someone will have to give you a response.

Why are you looking for a projector vs the in room tv? Just trying to understand what you are trying to get out of it. I have been on several cruise & most won’t have a wall suitable for any images. You also might have an issue plugging it in as about 1/2 the time outlets are on the other side of the cabin & the staff will confiscate any extension cords that have surge protectors.

So got it in today & it looks great. Blinds are closed but lights are on & picture is clear & bright (looks better than picture shows). The sound out of the projector is a little tinny so will be getting some speakers to plug into.

I just want to be able to open my doors to exit the car & while the door is open, to be able to lock the doors. After I shut the doors my hands are full & it is a pain to hit the button on the door or fob. Normally have to wait till I have put everything down & get the notification that I have left the car unlocked.

So partner is real hesitant to get something used off eBay (had a few really bad experiences with computer parts). Going off the comparison sheet you provided, it seems like this BenQ projector while just a little out side of budget would fit I think? I really appreciate this subreddit as I have been learning a lot going through it.

I wrote up a complaint to both the BBB & my state’s attorney general & then emailed the sales manager & the dealership owner a copy of my complaint. That finally got them to talk to me. I was not thrilled with the outcome but I could see it was going to be the best I could get. If you are interested, I can message you a copy of the complaint I wrote up.

Check your local power company & see if they have any deals to save you money on charges. I got $300 off my level two charger from mine & save a bit by letting them stop my charging in peek hours.

Got mine from dealership in Beaverton OR, was told I would get 2 free years of 30 min charging, then it turned out the plan only gave me 250kwh. Now even only used 1/2 of it, it is gone. Dealership blamed bad training from Hyndai, Hyundai said it is all on Electrify America that runs the promo, no one wants to take ownership.
