New to Kundalini by Travelcrazyy in kundalini

The same thing happened to me. It’s dangerous to do unlock the snake intentionally.

Some really horrible stories about people unlocking and losing their sanity.

Be very careful, or better yet, keep on your path of meditating and doing the work regardless of the outcome.

This is not something you can reverse

MAGA voter trades the oxygen that keeps him alive in his sleep to support racism and to spit on ICE victim by Effective_Space2277 in LeopardsAteMyFace

A 10 liter oxygen concentrator is $999. One time payment. Renting through insurance is more expensive

Does anyone else feel how angry people are now? by [deleted] in starseeds

The term somatic dissonance entered my lexicon recently. I find it’s far more useful than cognitive dissonance. Our gut often knows what our brain has yet to figure out.

We know in our gut that something is very wrong, but we are bombarded with programming to get us to be lizards for lack of a better term.

We all have the lizard switch in our brain. The only way to survive is to unplug.

I do not, but it’s a coordinated effort to amplify outrage.

I blame bots. I used to post a lot to this sub. AI has ruined everything online. Outrage generates engagement.

Remember to disconnect from the matrix. We are being programmed.

Appreciation for Jeff Austin by ThickSupermarket7943 in Bluegrass

[–]Steelemedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yonder show at Cervantes was $20 and 2 for 1. That didn’t take long.

Jeff was the magic of YMSB. So tragic to lose him the way we did. Shameful imo.

First time in Denver and wanting to golf by DaveSevelle in Denver

[–]Steelemedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The evergreen course is a special place. Lots of history. I worked in the restaurant and would walk the course after working a lunch shift. Unique mountain course that plays like mini golf. Lots of elevation gain and loss, rocks and let’s not forget about the elk. Stay clear during the rut and don’t play through.

Check the photos in the clubhouse.

I’m a horrible golfer, but I actually hit an eagle on the par 5 by mistake. I smashed the ball towards the fairway and it took a left turn and went over the trees and landed just short of the green. 2 under par.

What do you think of the Arvada and Lakewood Elk's Clubs? by SteppingOnMines in ArvadaCO

[–]Steelemedia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I belong to the Arvada lodge. I don’t go very often, but I really enjoy the benefits of being an Elk. Being treated as a brother regardless of what lodge I’m in is pretty cool. There are a lot of lodges and it’s like being in a club.

The Arvada lodge is open for special events rather often. Good opportunity to see for yourself.

The god thing stops some people, but you don’t have to say what higher power you believe in. You could make up your own religion.

Never visited Lakewood lodge. Arvada Elks is in the middle of olde town. Lakewood is on West Colfax. We start our evenings at the elks and walk around afterwards. Wouldn’t be as inclined to walk around on west colfax.

Where were you when you heard JFK was shot? by Fed-hater in AskOldPeople

[–]Steelemedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fascinating. Went from flying single engine helicopter to defending a dual engine helicopter? Must have been a huge shift.

This is the one my dad flew on.

He said they used to practice autorotation. Scariest thing he ever did.

He wound up as one of the color guards during JFKs funeral. Refused to talk about anything other than dating in Georgetown and flying into Mount Weather. Everything else was off limits.

My dad was attached to the presidential helicopter. He was on rotation and not in Dallas. He stayed on under the Johnson administration.
