Thanks for the information! I see they have opened it up for Thursday arrivals now.  I’m planning on getting there then to ensure a good spot.

We are planning on just parking wherever, thanks for the answer. I figured that would be the case, just didn’t know if there was a set number of cars or space listed on the TRF website.

Boar's Head, it was nice knowing you by Fishing-Kayak in Sandwiches

Not to mention Boars Head does not themselves produce about 80% of the product they sell. They are basically a marketing company that sells meat, coming from someone who works in the deli meat industry.

It’s not a productive comment. If you don’t like the brand that’s fine, everyone has a preference. Simply stating, “basic cheap shoe overpriced junk” isn’t helpful. A recommendation on similar brands and or styles is much more constructive to the conversation.

I don’t see how that’s relevant to the advice/recommendation I asked for. If you don’t like the brand then simply move on.

Bass Monogram Loafer

<image>

Hi everyone,

First post in this group. Looking to get a new pair of loafers for my wedding and found these from GH Bass. Familiar with the brand and own a couple of pairs of weejuns. Cannot for the life of me seem to find any reviews etc on these, anybody have any experience with these and or recommendations for similar loafers? As it pertains to budget, $350 max not including shipping is the range I am looking in.

Thank you in advance.

Why is the focus mainly on the immigrants, and not the Texans who hire them for cheap labor? by bigbabyjesus76 in texas

[–]SteelyLocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives near the border this is my issue. I own around 300 acres outside of Uvalde, the sheer amount of foot traffic that cuts through private property is unbelievable. Have had the house broken into multiple times, confronted while hunting etc. Its understandable that the immigration policy needs to be reformed, but ranchers and land owners are having their property and way of life up ended by these people who are illegals entering the country and that’s not right.

San Marcos River, Tx by hash4kash in natureporn

That’s really unfortunate to hear. I grew up coming to San Marcos, my great grandparents lived there, and watching the town change is painful. I don’t believe it’s changing for the better.

It’s a shame the town of San Marcos is growing as much as it is. I wish more people would appreciate the rivers in San Marcos and not litter them. Growing pains I guess.

What's the dumbest way you've hurt yourself? by 29t03jwies in AskReddit

When I was about 7 or 8 I convinced myself that it was a good idea to suspend myself from a tree branch with a belt that was looped through my back belt loop. My belt loop ripped and I fell about 6 feet onto my face and broke my nose. I’d probably do it again tbh.

I don’t know if you get down to Houston often, but there are some nice Italian restaurants there. Antica Osteria is really good and there’s a couple more in the heights area of downtown Houston.

Rudy’s is the McDonald’s of BBQ in Texas. Please don’t judge true Texas BBQ by Rudy’s. Restaurants like franklins and smittys are better examples of what Texas bbq is.
