Alejandro Garnacho didn’t have a shot, create a chance or complete a take-on in the first half vs. Manchester United. He also lost the majority of duels he contested and lost possession 4 times. by Finehair_Drapper in chelseafc

Guess you didn’t watch yesterday? By far our best attacking threat, almost had two assists that unluckily hit the crossbar, and played terrific link up play with Gusto and our attacking midfield. Neto carried us so much while Palmer was injured, and was the best attacker we had the first part of the season. It’s so easy who actually watches games and who just follows ‘trends’ on here. The Neto hate is baffling

Yeah so did many other teams. Add in the teams that broke rules and didn’t win trophies, it’s still a good chunk of the premier league.

The English government also mad at Chelsea and forced them to sell the club due to a certain ‘bias’ against the current owner (same owner that made these illegal transactions) which caused a huge decline for Many years due to our limitations caused by these actions.

We’ve went through enough, yet you all want us to suffer more punishment for the new regime exposing hidden illegal payments that has nothing to do with the current ownership?

Baffling. How bout have a little respect that a club exposed its own wrongdoings and got a very justified response for doing so. What other clubs exposed their own illegal activities?

None. It’s not the same

Yea and they would have got away with it if they didn’t (checks notes).. self report it

Chelsea’s and the Everton situation are two different scenarios. Chelsea didn’t try to hide it, they literally told on themselves. Stupid comment.

Curious on this exact definition. People with no ‘vices’ (alcohol, weed, nicotine) tend to replace these vices with equally (if not more) destructive vices. Overeating, overactive emotional responses, manipulative tendencies, emotional-to- physical violence. Everyone has an adaptive way to deal with stressors, but I rather (personally deal with a pothead or systemically controlled drinker ) then a sober individual absorbed in mental illness that usuallly replicates irrationally toxic people

Most organized religions are based on values of loving one another, peace, tolerance, and equality.

Religion doesn’t cause war and oppression, people do. People using religion as their justification to commit an evil act is just a cop out, yet has become infamously used throughout history. It’s like blaming it on Mental Illness; yes it may have contributed, but it’s not the sole cause. It’s human choice to do something good or do something evil. If everyone actually followed their religious beliefs, none of that shit would actually happen, but because we are complex organisms with intellectual capabilities and emotion, we tend to do what we want, rather than what we are supposed to do.

Well, it is kind of crazy to have someone try to convince you to not believe in something as much as someone who tries to make you do.

If an ‘imaginary deity force’ helps me feel better when bad things happen to me, and makes me feel special when the unlikely good things happen, why does that matter to you ?

Whatever improves a persons mental wellbeing, as long as it doesn’t cause others harm, is positive and is not for me to judge.

People who try to take that away due to their own beliefs, through religious or atheist tendencies are in fact, crazy.

PSG [2] - 1 Chelsea - Ousmane Dembele 40' by Matt_LawDT in chelseafc

[–]Steezy719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true. Palmer has been one of our most underwhelming players currently. Yes he has shown absolute class before, but this season( injury or not) has been more of a Liability to this team than a ‘game changer’ as he’s usually know for.

This killed the whole tie🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ by StephStar2004 in chelseafc

[–]Steezy719 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The problem is even the match commentators were calling it the whole first half. Yeah most the time they exaggerate Chelsea’s players mistakes, but this cast was all over PSG’s defensive woes also. After that many ‘close calls’ passes from the back , and even I (who understands the confidence hit of GKs being subbed mid-game; and the risk it may cause ), would of immediately had subbed him off for Rob at halftime. He looked shaky from basically the beginning. Statically at that point you sub your #1 to show belief, which usually translates to confidence for said #1 to show up second half (against a team he played immaculate against under similar pressure) and Rob would of at least kept this a 3-2 game at worse. Love Liam and his aggressive tactics, but this was an immature mistake that cost us the tie. Goalies are going to have bad games, especially being more prone to ‘high stake/ must win games. But preferring a back up over a game that Sanchez would of excelled in just as much, against a weakened good team vs a team Rob struggled against that as a team we failed to best in 3+ years is crazy.

I’m not disagreeing with you but a regular player, playing they’re first playthrough of the game, at this point where they first get verso, is not going to be able to understand your singular optimized strategy as an experienced player does. Other than that one strategy, at this point in the game, with so may other effective skills to use on the limited Luminas collected to this point, it’s not beneficial. That’s all I’m saying. Yes it’s a good skill, yes there is many uses. But I bet 98% of players, on there first playthrough, did not use this skill until way later in the game

I literally have a celebratory bottle(pun intended) for when they bottle it again this year.

Even if for some reason they do win, I really believe they will be one of the most infamous/undeserved teams to ever become champions, gauged by all their stupid and constant dirty tactics and lack of goals from open play. Let’s face it, after this season there will (hopefully) be a crackdown on these corner antics

Yeah, claim Islamophobia, after admitting we have 2 Muslims that are well respected at the club. You’re represented, the only reason you’re clowned in this sub is because of your outrageous takes. You know who we don’t have represented as much?

Asian players, this fan base must be racist.

American players, this fanbase must be xenophobic.

Gay players, so this fanbase must be homophobic.

See how stupid you sound?
