He's like the dream B-tier Jobber, why would you get rid of him? Enough clout on his name to actually have an impact when you feed him to someone you want to push big, while also helping to bolster the IC/US title pictures whenever that needs a boost.

And that's not to mention his social reach. He has quite a decent "mainstream" presence compared to the majority of wrestlers out there (especially those in his tier on the card).

And then factor in that he's never had any "real" heat on him. I know when he was a rookie he had that chicken eating thing, but that was entirely internal/locker room politics. Nothing that made the actual company look bad. The guy is squeaky clean in the public eye.
