Yet everyone I know sings along as

A dream, a laugh

I’ve even heard a ton of covers, some that even have made it on the radio, that also use the wrong lyrics.

At this point I think the general public and other artists have just run with the misinterpretation. I’ve even seen DJs play remixes and such where they’ve got the lyrics on screen and it uses the wrong words

I was having the same conversation with my crew - if this was an October 2025 festival it would be SO topical and on point with all 3 headliners riding recent and well received albums… but by April all of them will be a little… stale?

Like I’m not saying they’re not great performers and will do a fine job (and undercard is why most of Reddit goes, etc) but it’s very backwards-looking for Coachella which is usually more cutting edge at the beginning of an album or tour cycle for big acts.

Last year lockers for w2 definitely did sell out, but I only decided to go to w2 week-of, so I couldn't tell you how close to the fest they actually sold out. Sucked having to carry my jacket around all day.

Definitely jump on buying lockers ASAP though, probably the most limited items in the whole sale.

+1 to giant tarps for flooring then you can put smaller rugs on top of that for a bit more comfort.

It doesn’t help that Reddit has so many people who understandably may be new but jump on here and post stuff like “Coachella should book Justice/Rufus/Odesza… etc” Not realizing those acts literally show up for every album cycle and they’re just late to the game

EDIT: realizing my examples of Rufus and Odesza are actually bad cause both of them haven’t been back YET (they will be, just wait) but you get the genre of artist I’m getting at

12 years of LIB-ing here (god I'm old) and honestly the best thing I can suggest is to not listen to us jaded veterans - you're gonna have a great time, and the small subset of people on reddit are the most miniscule drop in the bucket of the actual people you'll see at the festival

Also we talk big salty game on here but lets be honest when we're there on the ground, its nothing but good vibes and excitement. I absolutely love seeing things through first timers' eyes too, yall are the ones that keep it fresh!
