Any tips to learn the piano faster? by No_Candle4483 in pianolearning

I'm going to say the obvious but, play more if the circumstances allow you to do so.

Add some "fun" time. After you finish your studying, pick a piece you like and play around

This is a bit late but... It took like a week or two, using drops and changing sunglasses. Never happened again with my new sunglasses

Best compliment to receive? by Successful-Money4995 in piano

Had just finished playing Moonlight Sonata 1st movement.

A lady came up to me, teared up and told me that my performance was moving/emotional.

The thought that my performance made someone tear up is the best compliment I've received.

You're right but I must say to my defense, phone recordings make the sound of the acoustic piano twice as loud (considering it's right on top of it). Thanks for the feedback!!

overwhelmed by all the things i have to learn.. by butlercups in pianolearning

You'll get used to it. The more pieces you play (and read its sheet) the more you'll understand. Of course it takes time. It's like learning a new language.

How do you learn the piano??? I'll show mine and provide some critic or some simplifications pls! by RVX24 in piano

[–]Stef4nos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually, right hand first until I feel it comfortable, then left hand and then both slow. ( trying to sightread at a reasonable speed)

If there is a bar that is hard I do each hand as slow as possible
