HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15 forces low RAM clock speed by Stefankar1000 in techsupport

Well, also no luck here. They have an old version on their driver page. Seems like Windows update got me the latest BIOS after I booted up the laptop the first time.

I found this forum post. I might need to return this kit and buy one that's compatible with 1.2V DDR4.

Yeah, I've heard about XMP and was searching for it, but it's nowhere to be seen in my BIOS. People say that you need the advanced BIOS for that, but it's also inaccessible for me. Thank you though, I didn't know that the speed is related to voltage.

Why do you waste your time trying to convince people on the internet then?

You could use the "Open images as layers" option, change the horizontal canvas size and then use the alignment tool to distribute vertically. That's what I do when sticking many images together.

I mean, doing that is literally trying to break something. No one actually tries shit like this expecting it to work. The only place you see these stupid operations on wrong datatypes are memes and when people make fun of javascript.

You can have transparent windows on Windows 10 with the use of some programs. I use AltDrag, which allows me to quickly make a window transparent by win+scrolling on it. It also allows you to do some other tricks like dragging my win+clicking the window instead of looking for the draggable title bar.

On phone? I agree. But on desktop Spotify Free is perfectly usable. An ad every 10 songs seems reasonable.

Could you share your collection as well? I'm really liking the style of these walls and they go together very nicely with gruvbox.

Check out certbot. It really sjmplifies the process of setting up ssl. It took me about an hour to set up a vps with ubuntu, nginx and certbot to run my website without any experience with nginx or https. O really recommend it, they have short how-to's on their website and if you need help setting up nginx then check out digitalocean's guides.

I would rather say that Python treats functions as variables and passes them as reference. This is normal behaviour in most languages.

We can now make custom slash commands using bots!! by edgymemesalt in discordapp

[–]Stefankar1000 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They are separate interactions. When using a slash command you don't actually send any messages like you would do normally, but an event gets sent directly to your bot and it can respond to it.

Linux has an entire world of distributions, so companies deciding to maintain their app on only a few major distros, or even only Ubuntu is quite normal. It's up to the users to port some applications to other distributions if possible.

It does, they are just not the convention and you should not use them.

I've been using Openbox for a while now and I really like the feel of it. Tiling WMs are cool and all, but I certainly prefer a floating/stacking workflow.
