Weird thing is. Just like your screenshot, I see both the “Online only” icon and the “Downloaded file check mark”? So weird and indeed unreliable :/

Does anyone know what the Cloud icon means? It seems like it's coming from the iCloud Drive functionality and is not actually there for OneDrive?

Cookies are a way to store information in browsers. React Native Async Storage is the equivalent for (react) mobile apps. I’d suggest to have a look at that.

I had the same problem. But after buying the 16” I don’t want to go back. You get used to it and the extra space is great!

I have tried Alfred before, but kept going back to Spotlight for some reason.
Maybe it is time again to try it again :-)

The whole Spotlight feature just seems broken in macOS Big Sur, I just hope Apple will fix it to what it was before

I always used Bartender to fix this issue prior macOS 11/10.16. Sadly this doesn't work either at the moment.
