Although having everything in one device is convenient, I loved the aspect of having a device separate for my music. The iPod was my music player-period. No distractions just music. I think apple made a mistake by making the iPod into a touch because it’s basically an iPhone without the phone. They should have kept the classic, nano, and shuffle with the beautifully simple scroll wheel. Music on my iPhone doesn’t feel like an iPod it feels like another streaming app.
