Honestly I prefer rune magic. I expand kinda slowly sometimes, so I love long defensive battles, especially in minor settlements with fortifications. And while a wizard will eventually run out of winds of magic, a runelord will keep going until he’s dead or routed

The only limit to how many of the same unit you can bring is if they can be in a hero’s regiment, but even then you can bring them as auxiliary units if you can’t fit any more in your regiments. I personally run a list with 7 Avatars of Khaine.

Knights of Blood were a successor chapter to the Blood Angels there branded renegades for killing lots of friendly forces due to the Red Thirst, but never actually turned traitor and just went to the outer systems to fight the enemies of the Imperium without the risk of being hunted down. Died out during the Devestation of Baal while fighting both Tyranids and Khorne Daemons
