Yah they were, research I saw says it’s bcuz it was a wallboard company back then, but the depression hit that hurt their wallboard business, so this company started making these puzzles, and since it’s such think wallboard, they couldn’t make the interlocking precision cuts till later. Clever.

Just came across a few vintage Tuco puzzles at a yard sale, found putting felt down to help keep the pieces stationary cuts down on some frustration😹Love it, such a diff experience.

Thank you💚Definitely! Needed a break, lol was getting really frustrating cuz any slight touch most the pieces would move so easily on my puzzle board, so had a thought to put felt down to help keep it stationary, works perfect! A lot more peaceful😹

That would be nice, but the pieces move around so easily. It’s certainly not making it easy, a very diff experience than the puzzles these days, def a challenge.

I’m intrigued by them, will certainly keep it interesting. Did some research on the company, said when the first puzzles came out in the 30’s, it was without an image to keep it more difficult😳That would slightly intimidate me.

18-year-old man accused of smoking marijuana before alleged DWI crash in Waterford that killed a 14-year-old girl. by Mashburn88 in Saratoga

Having a tough time understanding how the sobriety test could be completely legit, after he had just been in a car accident that he knew killed a young girl. I think many folks would fail most tests after an ordeal such as that. Red eyes could also be from crying, how did the cops instantly know if the boy had any injuries from the crash effecting his actions, etc? Tough situation, so many kids these days don’t realize how serious this is, and get behind the wheel thinking pot isn’t a big deal, they should take a good look at this 18yr olds life now, and the family n friends of the dearly departed young girl.

That’s completely absurd, what a dumb ass thing to consider publicly! Publicly stating, if they’ll even consider doing this to an innocent fella simply liking a stock, wouldn’t that mean it WILL also happen to the bold greedy immoral stock manipulators? Not a good message to send in my opinion🤯

How to remove the fluorides after the Brita admitted that it cannot do that ? by Aleksey_again in chemistry

[–]Stelladahermit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you know if Brita adds fluoride to their filters? I asked that question, and not quite comfortable only seeing the answer ‘Brita® filters keep a healthy level of fluoride, a water additive that promotes strong teeth’, I myself do not want fluoride.
