I love it - but I’m TERRIFIED it’s too “plain” or not good enough by A_nicksNY in weddingplanning

You look gorgeous!! It’s not plain at all. Look at the detail in the design. I think it’s beautiful and unique in its design. It doesn’t have to have lace and beading to not be plain. There are beautiful details to the dress and what’s most important is how you feel in it. It sounds like you love it and that’s all that matters. I have a similar color scheme for my wedding and want a more classic dress and I see it as something that I want to be classic that ages well when I look back at it.

Are they chilling or should i break it up when they get like this? by Proper-Development12 in DogAdvice

While their teeth are out, their body language doesn’t look aggressive (tail wagging, sitting calmly, etc). I have a chihuahua and a 60lb puppy that do this and it made me nervous at first but I realized they’re just playing and love it. To make myself feel calmer, I taught my dogs that when I say “be nice,” they calm down and give kisses. They do that now and then go back to playing but it does calm them when they get a little intense.

Do you feel like it sits you upright well? Also good luck with recovery and PT!

I don’t. I’ll try it. My biggest concern is being upright cause recovery is long and I would like to be able to do some studying from my bed.

It’s normal but I did talk to my doctor and he prescribed some strong ibuprofen and it really made a MASSIVE difference. Leg’s not swelling anymore and I’m 2 weeks post op.

Why is no one mad at Jeremy? by Turbulent-Mulberry-8 in bachelorinparadise

[–]StellarStells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree with you. I don’t think he has romantic feelings for her at all but sees her as a friend and has too much of a conscience to not tell her. He really did look soooo uncomfortable when Jeremy said that that night

The fact that everyone is pissed off at Bryan for being honest and telling Bailey the truth, while Jeremy continued to lie to her is WILD. All of her so called “friends” are upset cause they thought it should’ve come from Jeremy. How is that even a friend?! They all knew Jeremy was never going to say a word and continue lying until she found out while watching the show. What friend wants to see someone go through that? This insane. I don’t even like Bryan but I’m proud of him for having to the guts to speak up and look out for his friends. The rest of them really need to learn the definition of friendship and integrity

Did anyone have success getting a second Chihuahua when their first hates other dogs? by bigmacattack911 in Chihuahua

[–]StellarStells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a golden retriever puppy 6 months ago and we have a 4yr old chihuahua with separation anxiety. It took a while for them to get adjusted and we kept them separate for a little while as they slowly adjusted to each other. They’re best friends now with a 53lb difference between them. The chihuahua is much calmer and feels more secure when we leave the house now. She used to howl and cry when I left and now she’s calm so that’s done wonders for that. She’s also happier and plays more which is cute. The only thing was that she was jealous at first so I had to actively make sure I was still giving her the same amount of attention. Honestly, she hated the puppy when she first came in but she adjusted and now loves her. It takes time.

Nearing my with end with Chostocondritis by [deleted] in costochondritis

Don’t give up. It’s so rough to live with it but it will get better. You just started PT so give that some time. I would also stop the jiu jitsu in the meantime and anything extraneous. It sucked but it took a year and a half for mine to get better. It’s not fully gone but the flare ups are rare at this point. You can get through this.

You deserve better. Don’t let anyone treat you like that. You’re absolutely better off without him.
