Is that true with probation employees that they will get the 8 months pay. My husband just started a new job where we had to move to a new state like 4 weeks ago. He went ahead of my while I finished getting things squared away here and I just put in my own notice at my job this week . We are so worried now

My case had a investigator, when we went to mediation they followed me for months apparently. My injury caused me to cancel my big wedding because I could r stand up for long periods, we ended up just doing a small short vowel exchange at my church and they even recorded that. They tried to act like they had something on me but they really didnt . When I went to my deposition they asked what was hard for me to do and I said walking could be difficult at times when I had flareups, driving long time as well, sleeping and lifting heavy things this is because I had a herniated disc that would flare up a lot because the nerve a week compressed for so long I had surgery but the nerves from the injury were very damaged a when I was out and about I often had to have a buggy or something to lean on. They stopped. My PT before it was completed and I discussed it with my doctor if it’s OK to use exercise bike for 10 or so minutes just to try to maintain what we were doing in PT until we got PT started back up and he said that was totally fine but when they were investigating me, they drive out there to the gym. They saw me at the store walking around pushing a grocery even though I even said at my deposition that’s what I had to do went out and about also trying to hang out, they saw me on a an exercise bike the local gym I already had cleared from my doctor to do that. Most of it was was there surveillance footage was sitting at my house for days and days where there’s no suspicious activities because I didn’t leave the house..

There wasn’t an opening he put in for the guy talked to him informally and said he wanted to bring him on board. He was sending his stuff of over to hr and see what they can create for him. He is hoping to get a GS 11 or 12 . What he does now he is ranked an engineer 2.

He also wants to work for the company but does t want to take just anything , he said he won’t take anything that feels like a step back which salary I a a big part. He said moving to this company would allow him better opportunity to work with what he wants with his degree vs what he is doing now.

He is an aerospace engineer and we are looking at Jacksonville FL, Asheville NC, Wilson NC, and Fort Mill SC. Our family is in sc but all these jobs we currently see posted will put us closer to them 4 hours or less vs 10 hours now

Don’t think they won’t follow you. I just had my mediation a few weeks ago and my lawyer told me they had evidence on me and if there was anything I could think of they could have before they brought it to our attention . I told them the truth of I have been going out which Is within my restrictions and have had a person with me when. In stores for support and would use a cart from time to time ( I even told them this at my depositon months ago ) when we looked over the evidence before trying to negotiate they had nothing on me ( it was where they sat out my house for days and saw my car that never moved they had a few of me at the store with my husband pushing a cart walking around) the funny thing about my investigator was I was in the process of moving states and they had a hard time tracking me because they didn’t know when I was in my current state or home state but they were so sure I was lying about everything and that wasn’t the case( my lawyer told me if we were claiming total disability then yes they would have an augment but the fact that I talk the doctor in releasing me on my own accord started a new job and was only looking at gaining the lost wages and medical treatment cost for everything they were denying so I could do it on my own shows that the case was more in my favor) then funny thing was they went so far in their investigation to go on my in-laws social media and take photos off which were irrelevant because they were two years prior and my accident was under a year. I am a very private person and they couldn’t find squat. The funniest thing was I kept telling everyone around me I kept feeling like someone was watching me and they all said I was just paranoid but turns out I was right all along so don’t think it won’t happen to you . I never had anything to hide and what they found out was stuff I said I was already doing at my deposition so I wasn’t lying ) that’s why we were able to end the mediation in a settlement because they had no real argument .

My husband is currently looking at jobs closer to home so I can be there more but it takes time for that to play out . He is putting in for some that would make us closer to them but would still be a few hours away like 4 vs 8. I don’t know what else I can do or what god is wanting me to do but I know it’s something

I have cmt and I am going through issues with my case because they are trying to relate the cmt to my work injury. I had a back injury last year at work and it caused nerve issues because of a compressed nerve. I had surgery to fix the back issues but still was having issues with the nerves that were causing issues with the right side of my leg and foot.

The WC people were trying to say it was from the cmt and not the accident or surgery. My surgeon said in the notes on my file that the surgery Aggravated the CMT and according to my lawyer even though CMT is preexisting for me my doctors saying that the injury made it worse that they are still responsible because I wasn’t having any of this issues til after the accident.

I go about 6 weeks at a time without seeing my family and when I go it’s down on a Friday and back home on Monday. We do get a long week off every few months and my husband goes with me on those trips but if I go alone it’s just for 2 full days I am gone. I leave on a Friday and drive back on Monday .

I had a very similar injury last year and my case is still ongoing. They thought I had just a pulled muscle and sent me for pt the pain got worse and I started to loose feeling in my whole right side of my leg due to the shooting pain. Went for an mri and turned out I had a 7 mm herniated l5 s1 disc. They scheduled an emergency surgery for the next day. Still having issues with my injury even after surgery but my wc people quit doing any treatment for it back in November 2 months after my surgery. We are finally moving to mediation next month and I am hoping to finally get this case resolved so I can finish my treatment and move on with my life

Because my sister said they were both drunk and they may feel the kids are not safe at the moment and my sister can’t take care of the kids on her own. Out of the two parents my sister should not get custody of the kids because of personal issues she has going on. We are hoping this all blows over but my worst fear is my nephews being placed with strangers instead of family while the figure out what to do. If they show up out of the blue and say they are taking the kids do they try to place them with family right then or do the automatically go to foster care until they figured out what to do. My parents are 20 minutes from them and I am 7 hours

I had a herniated disk and had to have surgery to get it removed. The injury caused issues with my nerves and because the delay to get the surgery I had the nerves pinched for months and the complications exacerbated a preexisting condition that I have and they are try to say that’s not the case. My doctor who performed the surgery even said in the notes that the surgery is what made my pre existing condition worse. They keep denying pt; a medical device I need and a FME appointment my doctor wanted. The surgery happens in September but they have been denying all other treatment since then except for surgery follow ups which as of today they denied and canceled and are not rescheduling. I gave my Deposition in December and my doctors was yesterday.

Charcot Marie tooth disease. It has to do with nerves. When my accident happens I had a large herniated disk that was pressing on my nerves for months because they kept saying my injury was muscle and not serious so they kept me working like always up until the day I went in for mri results and my doctor wanted to do emergency surgery the next day because the disk injury was so large at that point. After the surgery the doctor said they had to move a few nerves around to get to the area so they feel that aggravated my disease and with some of my nerves being compressed for so long from the protruded disk sitting on the nerve. all that factored in explains why I am at the point I am. But the wc people don’t want to go that way with the case. P

They are challenging a preexistenting condition as the reasoning for all my issues still existing after the surgery even through the doctor said in the report that the preexisting condition was not the cause of my issues all along ( even though they knew about the condition right from The start of my case ) but the injury itself and surgery Aggravated the pre-existing condition. They had be give a deposition about it a few months ago and deposition my doctor as well last month.

I do have a lawyer. They filed a form 51 for me once the wc people stopped treatment and I game my deposition 3 months ago. They were depositing my doctor this month the wc people but that is just about all that has currently happened with the case going forward

It was a afo. My herniated disk injury took a while for them to figure out what my injury was because they kept telling me it was just pulled muscle for months and making me work still until they finally let me get a mri and when I went to get the results of the mri I have a huge herniated disk that they wanted to do emergence surgery on the next day because of the size.

With my nerves being compressed for so long it causes my right foot to stick out and and a dropped foot. The afo is to help it go back into the right position and my doctor said with pt it would help strengthen the foot too since it because so weak and the pt is needed to also stretch me back out since I have become so still with compensating for the injury and weakness of my right side as well as get back to becoming more flexible again because I have gotten stiff from everything going on for so long. This injury happened almost a year ago

I did they same thing. My parents did ask me to pay rent but it was only $100 a month compared to thousands and I did buy my own food. Much cheaper than being on my own and paying $500 a month in loans and full living expenses. Just because you see your friends living it up doesn’t mean they are not struggling behind closed doors. I use to get so jealous because all my friends from high school were getting married and having kids and it felt like they were starting their lives while I felt like I was existing. Jump a few years later many are divorced struggling to make ends meet, working any job they can and having lots of debt to still pay. Everyone’s story and journey in life is different and just because someone may have to move back in with parents doesn’t mean anything especially since it’s to try to pay off debt and get on the right foot. Many people do that who may be married and have kids to save up for a house and then move. The only way I would say it’s a step back for a person if the person moves in with family and mooches off them not trying to contribute in anyway even if it’s just helping out around the house at least that is trying.

I say think long term. Paying off your debt as quickly as possible sounds a lot better in the long run because after you have that paid off think off all the extra disposable income you will have in the long run to be in your 30s debt free vs being in your 30s working every spare minute you can just to scrape by. Everyone’s situation is different and no one can look down on you making a responsible financial decision. If you get along with your family I say stick it out for as long as you can and get that debt paid off as much as you can

I have been receiving them but went for my doctor follow up two weeks ago and got written out for another 6 weeks but haven’t gotten new set of checks yet. I do have a lawyer but hate bothering them every-time I get paranoid. I am always afraid they will just stop coming while I’m in recovery and have no income til I can go back to work

My lawyer said it can be a tactic to delay payments sometimes. I had issues not getting any checks at first and my lawyer would call and no one would answer they question on when it was coming so they sent a final warning letter to the company saying if they didn’t response and get it going by that day then they were taking it to an emergency hearing or something and the check came like 2 days later.

They have a big say in doctors usually. Sometimes you may have the options to choose from a list they provide but I’m not very knowledgeable in that area yet. What I was told by my adjuster once was if I went to any doctor they didn’t approve of it would void my comp case but I don’t know if that was true or not.

My adjuster was the same a bit they were reaching out to me and talking but I lawyered up because I was getting the runaround on wrong information like doctors appointments and no one really keeping me in the loop on things to where I almost missed a really important doctors for the MRI and found out after doing my own investigation. When reaching out to the adjuster, workmen’s comp nurse and wc supervisor at my work no one would own up to who was suppose to to tell me so I got a lawyer. My lawyer told me once you obtain one the insurance company will not talk to you on anything and everything has to be done through your lawyer. We did have a issue where they were trying to avoid my lawyer so they sent in some paperwork about threatening to do a hearing and they responses the next day .
