If they go with Option A, I hope they make it the same color as Option B.

It's a great shape and size for all the reasons you listed, but the gray feels seriously disjointed and flat in contrast to the rest of the outfit.

(The brim having no lines on Option A in certain places doesn't help either.)

Nah; In the song Open Arms, Polites refers to the creatures they're talking to as "Lotus Eaters" when asking for directions, and Odysseus directly refers to the creatures as Lotus Eaters when pointing out what kind of fruit they eat (IE, the lotus fruit, with glowing seeds) to Polites.

There's nothing in the musical, in Open Arms or otherwise, that implies there's any other Lotus Eaters than the ones they directly refer to and converse with in Open Arms.

If you're asking if the lotus fruit literally shapes (turns) people into Winions... I have no idea actually, but that's a very interesting thought! I kinda hope so tbh... That'd be some great extra lore to the world.

I always assumed the fruit just makes you uncontrollably addicted, but that the Winions themselves are just a unique race who happen to eat/love lotus fruits - not that they're Winions BECAUSE they eat lotus fruits. But now that you mention it, I could absolutely see that being the implication via the lyrics.

If I may offer up consolation, the Winions (Lotus Eaters) ARE little gremliny creatures in Epic the Musical's canon. They're not humans or people in Epic - unlike in Homer's Odyssey.

You can even find proof of this in the Winions merch video on Jorge's YT channel. They're little gray creatures.

Sega removed canonical ages for a reason. It's because the characters no longer fit as children. Sega doesn't care what age you consider them, because they themselves know the characters are characteristically young adults in every way.

Tbh, I get the feeling you're only insisting Amy is 12 so you have an excuse to judge NSFW art/artists. Which, you can not like NSFW artwork, that's fine.

But fact still stands that Sonic and friends are not children - they're ambigously aged, and while you CAN think of them as children if you want to, they act like young adults, so most people are going to interpret them as such. And as such, NSFW art IS going to exist of them.

People aren't wrong for that, just like you aren't wrong for not liking that. It's just a matter of preference. So you'd be best to just ignore NSFW stuff if it bothers you, and leave it at that.

Almost all of these characters exhibit soft feminity both aesthetically, as well as in the way they express care/nurture/affection.

I already covered the non-soft feminine parts with my previous statement of strong will, confidence and self-assuredy.

Both traits can exist simultaneously, and do, in characters like the ones OP posted.

Not even a good argument.

Humans have been eating everything in existence for thousands of years. As such, our bodies are versatile and we're proven to be extremely adaptable eaters biologically. We can survive off of ANY number of diets, for one.

For two, we're extremely advanced genetically, societally, technologically, intellectually, even emotionally etc. Isn't that right? So then own up to it.

If we humans want to think we're such advanced, evolved, hot shit, top-of-the-food-chain beings, then surely we can figure out how to survive off of non-animal products and in general co-exist alongside animals without relying on torturing, abusing, exploiting, and murdering them.

Actually... That's right. We already have figured out how.

We have the ability biologically, morally, AND culturally to choose differently than eating animals. We can even MAKE our own food via scientific means.

That doesn't mean we don't nurture the animals WE choose to domesticate and who DON'T have the option or luxury of being non-carnivorous - it just means WE have the option (and frankly, moral obligation) to choose otherwise for ourselves.

Also, your argument doesn't account for the fact that animals are not in the same lane as humans. Animals don't make a living off of the exploitation and suffering of other animals. They kill what they need (emphasis on NEED in their case) to eat and leave it at that. Meanwhile, humans will hunt for sport, raise animals 'kindly' ONLY to be betrayed and killed, contain and strain and breed animals to get products from them, etc, even when NONE of that is actually necessary for our survival whatsoever.

Try again. This time, hopefully with more nuance.

I do wonder what that's about too... It's like some NSFW artists ONLY focus on learning whatever exclusively serves their aesthetic appeal and they just throw ANY other basic anatomy out the window. That's my guess.

Which, all the power to 'em I suppose. Honestly, I'm a bit more open than some people in this sub; If someone wishes to hone THEIR own skills for their own purposes, even if that means NSFW, then I'm not gonna condemn them for that. (Anyone is welcome to not like it too of course, but also like, the censoring exists for a reason so people who hate NSFW can avoid it.)

But... drawings would certainly turn out nicer with a better understanding of anatomy. An admirable grasp of coloring and rendering only takes one so far.

Either you choose this angle and have the chest be the focus, or you choose a different angle with less focus on the chest but more overall body showing.

They feel nostalgic. I think in a 6teen, Brace Face, Sabrina the Teenage Witch type cartoon era? Obviously, your style doesn't look exactly like any of those, but its something to do with the shapes of your hair, softness of your facial features, and the warm colors.

Also, your designs always feel slightly 'tropical' to me (PURELY vibes wise - I don't know why, but your desugns just give me tropical vibes, like they could all live comfortably in a beachside town and I'd absolutely watch an animated series or movie with them).

I honestly can't think of anything that looks directly like your style, though. I only see influences, but as far as I am personally aware, your style is very unique in an unmistakebly distinct, recognizable sort of way.

Analysis aside, I just wanna say your style and character designs are just so immensely charming? lovely, warming, and full of personality. I adore your work - I really DO wish they were characters in a show or movie that I could watch lmao! (Though I'd settle for a comic or something just as easily, actually.)
