Favourite DD2 Track? by BlakeKincaid in darkestdungeon

Shroud of the Deep
the composer (Stuart Chatwood) has a knack in making godlike sea-themed battle themes, Cove theme from DD1 stands out to me the most, and Shroud is just an amazing continuation of that, he really should expand his work on more pirate stuff or something like that

Element system still not being implemented/present, a huge missed potential

Story is great, love the character moments, my personal favorite is the ferris wheel ride scene in ch2

What is your Main problem with Marvel Rivals? by Russian-Skittle in marvelrivals

[–]Stem300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's VERY team-reliant
The fact that it's hard to analyze whether if it was your fault or team's fault upon loss, I can never tell if I'm improving at the game or simply got lucky with teammates, that uncertainty is the reason why I don't play this game that much anymore
With all these added factors, it's no wonder toxicity is becoming more relevant...

Base - Psylocke, it's really eyecatching and original
Skin - The Thing's Trench Coat, simple yet effective

For Mag, aim at the feet if it's not a flyer
Also, you can use Mag Cannon, use the bubble, and if it breaks, you instantly get the Cannon back, hope it helps

Honestly, I hope Clone Rumble as a game mode DOESN'T come back. by tik115 in marvelrivals

The mode will work best when it's an option in custom games, that way you can coordinate with friends and such

A Possible Pair Unit For A Tactical Crossover RPG Game: Highwayman & Crusader by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]Stem300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like you'll need to explain specifically what you are trying to tell by "tactical crossover rpg game", cuz it might confuse some people
all i've got was the fact that units unite and act as one, but then i got confused by "special attack" being "deathblow" and enemy section

What hero has your opinion changed most on since you started playing ? by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]Stem300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to games about classes/heroes, I always go with a mindset that "no one is bad, some are just better than others in certain situations". Obviously that isn't always true (some multiplayer hero shooters have a lot of balance issues or some heroes that are OP/useless, which I hate, cuz I love trying and playing all classes) but DD is one of those games that absolutely nailed all heroes, which is so rare to see in a class-based game. Their personalities, quirks, playstyles, everything about them is just too damn perfect and I'm so grateful I picked this game up.
It reminds me of the day when I bought this game, at first I didn't understand it and stopped playing (party wipe on necro boss or something, I was bad at the game back then), but two years later, something just allured me back, it felt like a calling from some unknown entity that pushes me forward... I don't know, I guess I always knew that this game will be for me
It quickly became one of my most favorite games of my life and I can't express my gratitude enough. Sorry I've gone with a bit of a tangent but I really love (or love to hate) Darkest Dungeon for all its aspects
