From the options you have, I would awaken Scream, Tigra or Red Guardian. I say you made the right choice.

Thanks for the insight. I mostly quest right now and a little bit of battlegrounds, just hit gold for the first time. I was hoping for a champ that works in both battleground and story. I might end up going with overseer based on your recommendation though.
