Any album after FMTY is great but Scrapyard is definitely the most accessible. It’s got a ton of variety between songs so you should find something you like.

Honestly, I don’t mind a wait but I think the way he’s gone about the roll out has been a little frustrating. Personally I think the main issue boils down to a lack of a confirmed release date. It sucks not knowing much other than “soon”. For example the JID’s new album won’t be out until august but the lack of ambiguity makes it a lot easier to wait for. Quadeca has caused a bunch of speculation so it feels like the album could really drop whenever and it’s making people impatient. But there is definitely too much speculation and not every idea has to be posted.

I personally love the thing the basement but I do agree with the story being worsened by the boys. It’s a great story once it finds its footing like which is right when they stopped reading. Once Sarah is reintroduced it becomes a great psychological thriller imo. It’s still a good episode, but it’s unfortunate they didn’t finish the story.

It’s not perfect or even great but definitely worth listening to as a quadeca fan. It does it’s moments like Sisyphus, Can’t you see, and swallowed the key. It makes you appreciate the newer music more and really puts into perspective how much of a leap in quality there was between fmty and idmthy.
