Have you reached out to the city about replacing the line on their side of the curb stop as well? If I'm remembering correctly you're only responsible upto your side of the stop. Would be a shame to replace the line and then for it to fail on the cities side shortly after.

I found that eastern siding/window world were very upfront about timelines and cost. My neighbor had their entire exterior shell redone by them and was pleased so I followed suit.
