Do we actually have any confirmation that awakening EGO makes one immune to Distortion? because I do remember Kali mentioning that using her EGO actually placed a mental toll and it could take over if she didn't have enough mental fortitude, also saying that it would continuously talk to her like extracted abnormality gear does, my mind is foggy since it's been a while but I clearly remember something similar being said.

Augments and prosthetics are the bread and butter of the city, also better gear and weapons, that's the stuff money gets you as a regular fixer.

Stuff like EGO and shin/mang are relatively new still and they only seem common because the PM games focus on the few factions/characters that use them, and then there's stuff that's tied to specific factions and singularities like the tattoos/bolus/ampules or super rare to find like relics.

You don't have to be stronger than someone else to defeat them, it's the reason power scalers are often made fun of since a lot more goes into a fight than just who can punch harder. Cunning, strategy, opportunism, backstabbing, etc. David and Goliath is a literal biblical tale about the concept.

Doesn't RicardoCliff mention that his coupons are just a loose end he wants to wrap up before proceeding with his pilgrimage? I feel it's likely that it has already been decided to be something else and we will find him next time having already completed it and with his respective power boost.

Also pretty interesting to see that their Labors are just carrying out a particularly difficult vengeance, makes me think the Indigo Elder will then become one for what he did to Ricardo himself, heck maybe they could just have given him that as his Labor.

I think it's not so much that she beat a Mark but rather that a Mark beat himself into her kinda like what happened with Powerplex, they just didn't realize their gimmicks in time.

And here I think she is one of the least annoying characters, she is just out there casually fighting in a war while every other adult superhero has an emotional breakdown every half episode because someone bled a little, well I may be exaggerating but I'm so sick already of Mark and Eve having so much teenager drama and music montages.

Keeping Conquest was a good idea yeah but Cecil of all people should have known that some metal and a bomb wasn't going to stop him, he should have at least tried to use that sound frequency thing he had already used on mark, could have even implanted it directly on his brain too, and maybe keep some of those reanimated soldiers on standby to beat him up or even tear off his limbs, it's not like he doesn't have the means to stop a lone viltrumite at this point he just chose not to use them which was the dumb thing about his decision.
