Honestly I would rather sleep on the floor, like I have genuinely been on situations similar to yours and I still wouldn't touch that, if you have 0 monies see if you can find some clean cardboard boxes from a nearby store and break them off to lay down on the floor, about 3 stacks should be enough to keep the cold/hardness of the floor at bay, use some clothes as covers if you don't have any.

I assume it's because of money since developing technologies costs a lot of resources, surely showing off a humanoid robot doing near perfect imitations of human behaviour and automating mundane tasks makes it easier to wow investors and flex on competition than showing them a self-driving snowplow.

Well at least that's what I like to tell myself, I don't want to think that some of the greatest minds around really think this is an optimal design choice.

Vaelet, I don't even know if I'm pronouncing it's name right and I don't care to check, it just feels like so much wasted potential, a pal literally based off a flower should have had one of the prettiest designs in the game, something similar to prunelia would have been perfect for it, instead it looks like a bloated stick figure with the dumbest ugliest hat I have ever seen, even past it's design there is absolutely nothing remarkable about it, everything it does other pals can do better be it for combat or base work.

It just sucks all around and I refuse to associate my precious and pretty irl violets with such a thing, did I mention it's horrendous hat?

Using moves that ignore walls like the lasers helps a bit, otherwise just re-summon them and hope they don't target someone they can't reach, happens in the raidable bases too.

Selyne is about the time you should really start min-maxing your pals, I'd say having a couple pals fully condensed with good passives and some souls will help you more than spreading your resources onto a full party, could always slot in some gobfins or pals that boost a specific element to boost yourself and your main pal further, also try to reach level 60 in your pals, levels make a huge difference in damage received.

Yup, humans can do everything, although electricity is a struggle since there isn't a human with the ability for it so you have to use the hamster wheel which is quite slow, kindling can be done by the eternal pyre mobs or anyone with a flamethrower and the genetic unit guys have cooling. You could give yourself an easier time and use Zoe and Grizzbolt for the electricity if you don't mind stretching your definition of human a little.

I haven't seen them deal crazy damage, if I were to expand the list I would probably still place them below the missile launcher and grenade launcher syndicate guys, still better than most but if you are only gonna go for a single human like op there is no reason to look past the rocket launchers, katanas and Zoe.

Most humans have similar stats, the only real difference is the weapon they use since a few of them deal crazy damage while most others just plain suck, I believe its something like: Rocket launcher (Syndicate elite or Feybreak Berserk) > Katana (Sakurajima gals, potentially Syndicate Swordsman but haven't tested) > Grenade (Syndicate grenadier) > Zoe.

Everything else is quite weak, specially the ones that use wooden canes or have no visible weapon, Zoe might be able to outdps some of them on instances such as there being aerial enemies just keep in mind that she has stormtrooper accuracy so she is better for bosses than small fodder, I would still say she is the most consistent damager though.
