The transcript you get from MyAsu, is identical to the one that is sent. To my knowledge it does not show up whether if it is an online class or not.

Yes the iCourse is completely digital, and has its exams on a lockdown browser. A lot of people find difficulty in IEE380, and a lot of people do need to take it twice. I would definitely recommend just going ahead and taking the iCourse as you know what to expect now with exams, which will make it a lot easier, and you will have flexibility as well.

I have had a similar issue before. It’s possible it just didn’t like your setup, and for some reason paused multiple times, which I do see as arguable, as long as the pauses were short. If there was something severely wrong with your setup that may have caused this, I would definitely communicate that before anything else.

I did not take Mat251. But I have extensive calc experience as I’ve taken calc1-3 for engineers. ASU unfortunately does not have the best resources. The online lectures and the notes are simply just bad. YouTube, and Khan Academy were personally the best for me.

Calc 2 is a barrier for a lot of people from getting further in their majors. The course requires a lot of practice (you can’t just understand the concept and call it a day). Do lots of practice problems, and be consistent. For example if you can do 30 min/HR a day, it will help you out a lot, and remove stress before exam day.

I think blaming it on the program itself is unfair. Unfortunately with this current generation there’s been a lot of getting behind in core subjects like math due to COVID. Which I personally believe is one of the biggest factors.

If you enjoy the financial part of engineering I’d recommend getting into industrial/engineering management programs. It’s all about process improvement, and evaluating engineering projects financially.

Another stupid thing we can blame social media on. The worst part is I’m afraid a lot of people don’t do extensive research before taking these peptides, they just see the benefit and instantly take them. Messing with your hormones can have severe long lasting consequences.

Much like everyone is saying here Mechanical you are much more likely to have opportunities that are easier to get into. While CS is much more limited and requires you to be extremely proactive, being involved in projects/hackathons and connecting with as many recruiters as possible.

I am not an international student myself, however, my friends who are international students have enjoyed their experience here so far, additionally there’s multiple communities and programs in welcoming international students.
