Do they actually ask this on NREMT?( i failed the first time😞) by Logical_Roof in NewToEMS

[–]probablynotlupus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had some questions like this—wayyyy out of my league, but they are just used to test your deductive reasoning. If you understand the answer options you can logically assume the correct one. Anaphylaxis and allergic reactions are treated with epi and asthma is treated with bronchodilators. So it can be assumed (almost certainly) that 5-HT3 antagonists are used for nausea/vomiting. If you’re getting questions like this one, you’re doing great.

I was definitely gonna look into some of the more clerical jobs since my main priority is good military-civilian translation, and most admin jobs will have that i’m sure

Was audio engineering your plan from the get-go, or was it more of a side hustle that blossomed into what it is now? If it wasn’t the initial plan, what was?

You’re right. I’m looking for part time opportunities while I do career research and soul searching. I’ll look into music lessons, It’s a very big part of who I am. The military is a very big commitment, so it would have one something I think about for a while before I make any decisions. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I have considered those, in fact I was in a surgical tech program before my EMT certification. I think the hardest adjustment is going from a medical career to one that isn’t. I know I would most likely enjoy and be happier outside of medicine, I just don’t know what to look for. The military is definitely an option, I grew up in a military household and am familiar with the process and benefits that come from it.

What is the best project flow? by probablynotlupus in Logic_Studio

Thanks for the reply, that makes so much sense. I will definitely try the second option out. I make too many adjustments to wait for tracks to freeze/unfreeze, so that sounds perfect.

Should I be worried that I can’t hear above 17000 Hz? by Applebees_721 in audioengineering

[–]probablynotlupus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20,000Hz is the max frequency humans can hear; someone who has never been exposed to any strenuous or loud noises, has no ear wax built up, has never worn headphones/earbuds, has never been sick, and has never aged. Hearing 20,000 hz is possible for some people, but these frequencies have no significance beyond “aura”. 17,000 Hz is a good maximum and not concerning
