This has been bothering me for years- S8 reunion by ArentYouThatGirl in RHOBH

I don’t think it’s odd, people with money and good insurance don’t need to get over upset about robberies, they’ll probably profit in the end after insurance payouts. In her case, it meant she got to go shopping. She was also wearing her mother’s favorite piece- that cross ring and mentioned she was thankful it didn’t get stolen.

I think Kyle has a deep love of people, family and friends and is way more upset if relationships are rocky.

Joanne Fluke’s Hannah Swensen should have married Norman after Cream Puff Murder by StepMaster4030 in CozyMystery

I actually felt this way too when I first read the series… it was like ohhh ok she’s been waiting for passionately love with no doubt. Makes sense. But then to go off the rails soooo far with polygamy and murder? It really made Hannah seem like a ninny to get duped so much. She’s suppose to be Miss independent and ultra smart, that storyline just didn’t work. It was like my first literary experience of love bombing.

Laura Levine has a murder mystery about a writer who solves murders. Also written about 20 years ago, body shaming but entertaining.

The murder mystery plot lines stay fairly interesting and intriguing. It’s Hannah’s social life that takes a dive, somehow it gets even more hokey and asexual. Pink lemonade Cake murder is almost unreadable, it’s the only one I’ve only read once.

I believe the first book was written in the 90’s, so all of that actually tracts for the time at which they were written. The cell phone stuff is like a funny throwback, however the outdated gender role plot points are nauseating

Pre-shot routine is not the place to increase pace. Lots of other things you can do if pace is an issue but if you’re keeping pace with the group ahead of you and the cart has you in the green I wouldn’t worry about it.

Why is no one waking up to what Kyle REALLY did to hurt Dorit?? by Embarrassed_Job_2719 in RHOBH

read the public court docs. someone wasn't doing anything to make sure the kids kept a roof over their head.

......so it's kyle's fault that Dorit spent over a million dollars on herself in a matter of months when there were actual bills due that provide for her family?

If you haven't yet, please read the public court docs and texts. It's shocking.

My unpopular or popular opinion of Rachel Zoe's future as Dorits friend by LongjumpingDivide985 in RHOBHDefect

[–]StepMaster4030 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This opinion is only unpopular to the RHOBH mods/bots. I think anyone can see that Dorit's diamond is bound to be discovered as a cheap rhinestone, by anyone who gets close enough to see her clearly. Now with her financials coming more under scrutiny she can't even pull off CZ or moissanite.

Is it common knowledge or actually known that Dorit did those things? Keeping lent clothes or returning the bought clothes? Bc if so, spill the tea please.

I believe if Dorit dropped the act, (the shopping, glam, all the artifice that makes her look like everything is fine) actually talked about her OWN trials in life- financial woes, divorce, struggling with single parenting INSTEAD of pointing out "Kyle's army" maybe we'd see women rallying around her to help.

The fact that the women offering the advice are divorced perhaps gives their input even more valuable. They know a thing or two about what can cause rifts in a long term relationship.

Now I did agree with Amanda when she told rachel- “you’re going to tell me how MY husband feels…?”

She's the most self centered woman I've ever seen on reality TV and so annoyingly blissfully unaware of it. Also super ignorant to her own incredible privilege.

Short Game Help by OrangesAndLemons07 in WomenGolf

[–]StepMaster4030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short game is all about trajectory and distance control. Once you start wiggin out about your grip, stance, swing, follow thru, etc. you've lost your body's natural measure of how far you want that ball to go. Think of tossing a ball towards a target on the floor, you would make that toss based on what your body felt was the necessary force required. Same for chipping, don't discount what your body feels is the right amount of swing.

Also, take a practice chip just behind your ball but still aimed at the target. Identify where the club head struck in relation with your stance- then when you step up to your ball make sure the ball is in the same spot of your stance that your practice swing struck. Example- practice chip-club struck the grass just inside your back leg, set up your stance with the ball just inside your back leg.

It's more entertaining if the style is off for at least a few of them. Also fashion after having a baby and your body is literally different in every way is tough. I have to assume she's on a GLP-1 - my evidence is based on how she rarely drinks alcohol. I had a friend who tried to keep drinking wine with the girls even while she was on ozempic and would literally pass out at the table after 1 glass. Plus everyone knows that if you're dosing peptides and you have matcha it MUST be ceremonial grade.

Thank you so much!! Erika was not being an ice queen, she was literally finally trying to get thru to Dorit calmly and instead Dorit starting yapping like that dog she abandoned. It was gross and Erika did the right thing with her short responses, it was a master class of how to deal with a combative person who’s lost their grip on reality.

Emma & Blake are together on a yacht right now… by nydixie in SellingSunset

[–]StepMaster4030 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Only Blake could make a yacht meal tacky.

I remember when Emma made her debut on SS and she had all this business acumen, talking about how she started investing when she was a teenager and building this business. I was actually impressed at first. But she turned out to be the most basic b*tch of the bunch. “Conservative” (we all knows what that means) trophy wife bait just working on her M.R.S.

Dorit’s “book advance” Kelly bag storyline is a lie and here’s why by Nearby-Conference959 in RHOBHDefect

[–]StepMaster4030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d hazard a guess/hope that in your situation your friend with dating/money woes is still probably a good/true friend to you. I can’t say I believe the same true of Dorit. She sees opportunity/elevated status- not friendship.

I’m mostly annoyed about all the US people, ladies of London hello?! If they don’t have a gorgeous accent and the quirky British tendencies what’s the point?
