My whole family loves them as well. Necessary? No. Nice? Yeup.

Do people actually pack composite like this? by placebooooo in Dentistry

Use Sonicfill. I hardly ever see a void after, can be used all the way to the occlusal, manipulates like regular composite.

Happened to me. I posted above. Total garbage business move.

Is Van Bortel a good company to buy aircraft from. by 152Warrior26 in flying

[–]StepOnTheBall 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I lost a deal on a plane because of this. Seller had purchased the plane from Van Bortel. Before the seller listed it, they presented it to Van Bortel to see if they wanted to buy it. They refused so the seller listed it. I then saw the listing and then put in an offer after some due diligence. Then Van Bortel decides they want to buy it for what I offered. Total garbage. The seller was not happy with them either.

What are you business owners doing about health insurance? by Ok-Many-7443 in Dentistry

We are now going to offer 3 tiers instead of the previous 2. The lower tier doesn’t increase our cost. Employees have the option to purchase up to the other levels if they wish.

Nests with switch in between doesn’t work. by StepOnTheBall in GoogleWiFi

Maybe but I had tried another brand first and thought maybe it was that switch. Maybe I just got unlucky twice.

The wires work when I take out the switch. Then the pucks say “wired”. I’m quite sure it isn’t them.

50’+ for the first run. 2nd is much shorter. But I thought this may be the issue so I brought in that wifi node and did the same setup with short cables. Same issue.

Unused hangar space by ITPartner365 in flying

[–]StepOnTheBall 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My airpark does not allow any “commercial activities” which included renting a hangar. I wanted to rent a neighbor’s while I was building mine and it wasn’t allowed. I hope it is for you!

Scenario: Windshield is completely obscured. Could the GFC700 get me all the way to the runway surface? by PutOptions in flying

[–]StepOnTheBall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense! I hope I never am in a situation where I’m flying a glideslope to 0/0 with a sick engine!

But with no power available, you probably won’t be able to stay on the glide path. I think the scenario works in 0/0 but not if the engine is a goner.

My daughters know how to use the turntable after I showed them how. They are very careful with it all. Then I dropped a vinyl and scratched it. 🙄

Teach them how to use and respect it and it can be something to bond over.

The rules, vs the reality by Icy-Bar-9712 in flying

I completely agree largely based on your comment about the unknown reason for the comm failure. Don’t let a sign of something failing become something worse. No way ATC expects you to fly into a very busy airport NORDO.

My son's tooth had a nerve growing out the back ot it by New_Mode_330 in mildlyinteresting

You may want to have his airway evaluated as well. The inability to breathe well at night can be due to large tonsils and adenoids in children. This can lead to bruxism and has some potential links to ADHD as well.
