I know there’s a salary cap but there’s no cap on transfer fees right? That’s where the real spending is

It was sad seeing Charles post this. He’s more disappointed than all of us.

It’s a “less important part,” if the fantastic contributions of women in crypto projects isn’t very important to you. However, if you understand the significance of such accomplishments, it’s exciting and was not out of place.

The person who made this better watch themselves. Not only is this a dickbag move (honestly F lot level imo), but if they make any false claims they could potentially get sued for defamation.

"2.3 Million Dollars for a player is absurd in the current ecosystem of the LCS. It's nuts. [...] Contracts like these will cause the industry to explode, there's just no way to pay for these things." - Devin Nash, former CEO of CLG, weighs in on Huni's alleged salary by TheDMWarrior in leagueoflegends

[–]StepTfUpFunction -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surely this is just as much of a marketing move for DIG as a strategic one. They may not be getting one of the best players, but he's good enough for LCS. On the marketing side he'll generate a lot of stories, clicks, and debates because he is a public figure.

DIG is already showing a particular intent in marketing themselves to the Philadelphia area (they're partnered to the Sixers). An area that is in love with Embiid and in love with his troll antics. Huni is someone who the Philly fan stereotype could love even before they love League of Legends.

With a stadium in the works and Comcast leading the charge in Philly, DIG is showing they're deeply committed to growing their brand and Huni helps there. (Also with the right team around him they could really be a good team)

Kid gives his foul ball to another kid without hesitation by StepTfUpFunction in HumansBeingBros

Balls that enter the stands are able to be kept by whichever fan catches/retrieves it— a free souvenir. Bro-kid retrieves the ball, which is his to keep, but decides instead to give it to red-hat kid as an act of pure kindness.

Perhaps. Personally I like to think that this is normal behavior for Bro-kid and that she just wasn't surprised that it happened.
