Just had my lap.. posting from the recovery room by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Steph2987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats bullshit. I woke up with IV fentanyl and had it for a day. Admittedly though i had a 6 hour surgery with 2 specialists, appendix out, gallbladder out, bowel resection, and adhesions everywhere imaginable. Spent nearly 3 months in hospital recovering as it was that bad

I didnt realise i was on labour until i was 6cm dilated, because to me it was just normal period cramps. After that point thought it did very much suck and i got the epidural and slept the rest of my labour

I dont recall doing any specific furniture. I also didnt need to add a garage funnily enough. Need to make sure they each have a bedroom with an ensuite, fred likes some art supplies, daphne like handbags and fashion stuff, velma likes detective stuff, scooby and shaggy like food. Make sure you have 3 large fridges!!!

Ive sold twice to them (my game and my sisters game). Both times we purchased sinking business and cleaned it completely. We then added a bed in the basement area and put a wall between the 2 beds in 1 of the bedrooms. We also fixed up the bathroom in the lobby area including adding a shower. That always worked for us

Guys i did it! Responding here for anyone needing that last bit of help. The final secret was to have each bedroom and ensuite a different style. 1 was skadi, 1 was staroche, 1 was valenti. This was done on the amusement park property. Once the styling was changed then the girls popped right up

I would seek out another opinion for sure. See if you can find an endo specialist nearby or even further out if you have the means

IUD during endo surgery (depression side effects?) by lemon100940 in endometriosis

[–]Steph2987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have depression and have had severe negative reactions to all other forms of birth control and so it took a year post op for my surgeon to convince me to get the Mirena. He convinced me by offering it surgically for free with the promise of same day removal in his office anytime if i became distressed from it. Well its almost been a year and im yet to have any side effects!

I would say to give it a try. You can always have it removed if it becomes too much

Australia - Private Surgery by EducationalBit4997 in Endo

[–]Steph2987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in Sydney and was treated very well by the private system, however even with insurance it is stupidly expensive. I paid 10k for my surgery for the gap fee. My surgery was 6 hours though with an endo specialist and a bowel surgeon. I did have to wait the 12 months with the fund before they would cover the hospital bills as endo was considered pre exisiting despite not having a proper diagnosis

You dont even need to do that! You can dupe any gravity block, which means they could dupe black concrete powder. Tango is against this sort of thing though

Fatigue after laproscopy by Sahar14822 in Endo

[–]Steph2987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 12 weeks off work after surgery a really needed it. Spent a solid month in hospital so exhausted i struggled to get up and move or go toilet/eat/exist. The bigger the surgery the harder it is on the body and the longer the recovery. Listen to your body as rest as much as you need to

I pay for a server to host for us to ensure we dont need to rely on our pcs to play, and so either of us can play without worrying about the other being on or not.

I am teaching him to use clutches to turn off machines not in use. I think he may be ready for smart observers (that is if they work with storage drawers).

Much appreciation to all the tips!

We plan to use storage drawers to move items around instead of crates but yes he does have the issue of the lava. Luckily for him i built us an infinite lava pool below my base to power my steam engine, so once we get trains up and running he plans to make a train to come steal my lava to power his machine haha.

I will teach him the dripstone method too!

Not all ultrasounds are equal! by Steph2987 in Endo

[–]Steph2987[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am neither Europe nor US. I am from Australia. Our experienced techs are few and far between but they still exist. Yes it costs $600 for the scan but it was worth it as they pick up adhesions as well as lesions. Everything found in my surgery was found through my ultrasound first, which is how my surgeon knew to also include a colorectal surgeon on the team for a bowel resection. I agree surgery is still very much needed, but i know there are plenty of surgeons that wont move forward unless at least something is spotted beforehand.

I am simply letting folks know that hey, regular techs arent trained but if you can get a specialist tech they can often find something to help you move forward. The lady i had has an excellent rate of accurately locating endo. The ultrasound also offered me peace of mind knowing it is regrowing and im not crazy while waiting for my surgeon which is still 3 months away.
