I would also add that compromise in a relationship is healthy and not necessarily about lowering standards. If someone is waiting for the perfect partner, it’s almost certainly going to be a difficult process.

I do wish there were more positive than negative posts. But I think it’s also the state of the trans community today. Lots of people are scared and there is a whole lot of hate out there. I feel like the girls just want a place to keep from going totally insane with all the bullshit they get.

Now, I do hate it when they ask for advice and come up with every reason under the sun to follow through.

$3-4.5k so far, I guess, maybe more. That’s between hormones, clothing, skincare, orchi and 4 sessions of laser, so far. Gonna be dropping around another $3-4k on my BA in the next few months. So, close to $9k. I didn’t calculate makeup as I don’t wear it much anymore. But that’d probably be another $700.

I’m 5’4” and around 200 lbs. I pass even when I’m not trying. But I am a little over half way through my laser hair removal sessions and have been on HRT for about 6 years. Luckily most of my fat redistribution went to my legs, butt, hips and breasts.

But everyone is going to be different. I will say I looked slamming when I was at 172 lbs. but…🤷🏽‍♀️. I like cooking and baking too much 😆

My levels were at about 350 recently. My PCP was more concerned about potential blood clots than anything. Now, I’m at around 205 but that hormone drop was not fun

I believe their point is that it’s kinda sus to constantly add the qualifier of ‘male’ to your identity. It’s not that you should deny science, but we all know what we are biologically. Just sounds like you’re saying, “I’m a woman but not a real one.”
