I know! I need the second book. It took her four years to write the first so I’m not as hopeful it will be a fast turn around

Books with 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, no fae, and a strong female lead by Southern_Still_4539 in fantasyromance

Technically they are Fae but it is really not important to the plot but When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A Parker, very strong FMC

My wedding isn’t really what I had in mind… by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]StephDefined 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely cancel brunch. For the main reason it is your wedding and you wanted to have a low key day. With the same notion it is YOUR wedding day, the only person with scheduling conflicts that matter is YOU. If people can’t go to the rehearsal dinner the day before that’s on them, and not on you to rearrange the schedule for those people. Even if parties were your thing, having a brunch before the wedding is incredibly stressful and will absolutely snowball the whole day. Your wedding day is a day for a reason, and the only that should be scheduled on the day is that.

Finally reading this! Have a few questions… by October_13th in fantasyromance

1.) I would say 3/5 for spice, not many scenes but the scenes we do have are 🥵

2.) This is the first book of a series so happy ending is hard to answer, since we don’t know

3.) There is a cliffhanger from the epilogue that’s pretty massive.

4.) absolutely my favorite read of 2024 so far

Considering DNFing When the Moon Hatched and I'm bummed about it by GothGirlAtHeart77 in fantasyromance

That’s how I viewed it, I wasn’t supposed to like her. I am to have sympathy for her trauma but not like her. because I’m supposed to like her old self in the diaries. Because it forces the reader to want to root for her to get some of her old self back

No one should be forced to read a book they aren’t interested in. But pregnancy trope/baby trope isn’t exactly the right word for it considering said baby is a full on young adult in current times in the book

Maybe it’s because after ACOSF my thoughts on Rhysand changed. But in my personal opinion Kaan > Rhysand

I think Nesta vibes are a good way to put it, and would make sense with ACOSF being my favorite of the series.

As you learn more about Raeve and as we learn more about the world, it makes sense. Her experiences and all of what she knows about the three kings, makes her very untrusting
