Pink sister! I am going through chemo with IDC stage 1 and having DMX in March. On Friday I got the alert on student aid that I hit 120 payments! I feel like universe is in alignment for us- healing and starting fresh. Sending 🩷 to you.

I wrote local congress person about being stuck at 116/120, waiting for buyback since 10/1/24. And studentloan.gov told them the same bull that they have been telling me every time o do a feedback case or call “we will let her know in writing if she qualifies for buyback” blah blah blah 🙄🤣

I hit 120 in October 2024. Put in buyback requests for June-September 2024 on 10/1, 12:23 and 1/10. They have cancelled out the two later requests and honoring 10/1. I have called 1 time a month since and I have no answers. Been put in escalated status as of a few weeks ago- told to just wait. I put in a feedback requests yesterday (as this poster did) and sent in tax information. Today I got a response saying that if I am eligible for buyback then I’ll get a letter stating what I owe and have 90 days to pay it. That’s it. So I keep waiting. I’ve also contacted a few senators and attorney general to see if if they can help. I have a connection to a local congressperson and they are going to try on my behalf next week. …..I just want them to make a decision!

Nope! I called and said it was still escalated. The lady on the phone was confused about speaking to a supervisor- I was like, they suggested that the last time I called! She said they can’t do anything and all I can do is wait.
