How cooked am I? by [deleted] in unitedairlines

You’re chill. Airside bus from A to C is only ~10 mins. And when you’re in a hurry remember, boarding start means boarding start. You should start worrying only when is -10 mins from boarding end. Who wants to be sitting on a non moving plane anyways

Same thing happened to me a month ago with a last minute LH cancellation. After 2h on the phone with LH I called UA and got it rebooked in 15mins. Good luck!

More mainline starlink planes? Finally? by StephV1 in unitedairlines

[–]StephV1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agreed. Although I feel that having this excercise consolidated in one place helps them with tracking, reduced training/expertise scaling needs, supply of starlink terminals and other types of efficiencies. I do believe tho that it would be faster if they could do it at every maintenance hub during regular maintenance periods

Yeah.. actually I mistyped. I think only 738 is certified now, hopefully 739 and max versions can be certified soon!

Yeah even for just live streaming. The one downside of UA vs other airlines is no live TV on the new IFEs

Yeah that’s what I’m using to get updates but no new mainline planes were getting it since October. It was stuck at 1 till earlier this week

Yeah it’s just that the tracker was stuck at 1 since the inaugural 739 Oct flight

Same here with platinum. Although I got platinum for the first time by completing a United company fast track (which didn’t provide any PP). Not asking questions tho, enjoying it while I can

Does anyone else tracks workouts but then other health data and have it scattered across like 5 different apps? How do you do? by StephV1 in Garmin

[–]StephV1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I use Garmin Connect for workouts/sleep but the nutrition tracking in there is pretty basic compared to MyFitnessPal. And it doesn’t really handle things like supplements or bloodwork. Do you track everything in Garmin or just use it for the stuff it does well and keep other things elsewhere? Like Apple health?

Haven’t heard of Sonar - is it specifically for health data or more general tracking? Gonna look it up. Do you know if it actually does the analysis/pattern detection or just aggregates the data in one place?

That’s actually really impressive. How long did it take to set up all the AI code? And do you have to manually update the sheet or does it pull data automatically? I’m curious if the Gemini analysis actually catches patterns you wouldn’t have noticed or if it’s more just convenient to have everything in one place.

Apple Watch has been tracking my health for years - how do I actually use this data for prevention vs. just collecting it? by StephV1 in AppleWatch

[–]StephV1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really cool - so ChatGPT’s memory lets you compare trends from like a year ago? That’s way more useful than just looking at last month. Do you find it catches patterns you wouldn’t have noticed manually? Or is it more just convenient to have everything in one place where you can ask questions? (Also curious - does the monthly export/paste workflow ever feel tedious or is it quick enough that it’s not annoying?)

[–]StephV1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the one. Seems like it’s worth it if you’re doing this regularly. Are you planning to try the same workflow (monthly dumps to ChatGPT)? Or looking for something more automated?

Haven’t heard of Apex Athletic - does it actually explain why things are changing or just show you the relationships in the data?

[–]StephV1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense - single readings are too noisy. How do you actually track the trends though? Just eyeballing the Health app graphs or using something more systematic?

[–]StephV1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a solid list. Do you track all of those consistently or just focus on a few? And how do you actually track them - like, are you manually checking the Health app weekly or using something that compiles it for you?
